Every single year the travel ball circuit provides us with guys that may not have the opportunity to shine in the high school season, see their situation change and provide a glimpse of what they're really capable of or guys just showing real improvement in their game in the brief offseason. There are many players that aren't getting recruited loudly right now but are simply delivering high level performances. Without further delay, let's take a look at some guys in the 2029 class really bringing the heat this spring in the travel ball season.

Kratzer has been a really consistent performer for [program_tooltip program_id='2399240' first='Dub' last='Salem'] with his inside/out ability, nose for the basketball, and ability to help connect his team at both ends of the floor. Kratzer is coming off playing varsity as a Freshman at Mt. Tabor where he was a contributor off the bench and that experience paid major dividends at Kratzer is a super consistent producer on the 15u travel ball circuit. He possesses outside touch, the ability to rebound at both backboards, and flashes of exploiting defenders off the bounce. Kratzer is a mismatch forward to monitor in NC's 2029 class.

Gullatte has been a major piece for Heat Elite 15u who looks like one of the top independent teams in that age group in North Carolina this spring/summer. Gullatte has the ability to control a game and is super savvy when operating with a live dribble. He's impactful in his playmaking in both the half court and in transition, showing an advanced feel for the game for a PG his age. He was one of North Carolina's most productive 2029s at the varsity level this season at Shelby High School and should be a guy to monitor closely moving forward. Gullatte is the kind of kid that simply wins a lot of games and it will be really fun to track how he develops his game next.

Morgan has been a really key piece to this No Guts No Glory 15u group as a guy that can blend his athleticism and skill to directly translate it to production. This group has played in a myriad of events vs a lot of high level competition with Morgan as a consistent performer throughout. He's a high quality shot maker off the catch from distance and possesses the ability to finish above the rim. He also can use that athleticism defensive and to contribute on the glass. Morgan will be a guy to monitor closely in the 2029 class out of the Raleigh area moving forward.

Kirby has been a steady producer for this TLBA group going back to last summer when they were playing the 14u division along with enjoying a quality freshman season at South Caldwell. Now, he's using that experience and producing at an even greater level now that he's playing 15u. Kirby can really really shoot it from distance at a high efficiency and volume. That sets the rest of his game up as he can make plays for others off the bounce when attacking closeouts or use his size to score over smaller guards at the rim. Kirby's skill, IQ, and positional size will all translate as he continues to develop and cement his status as a next level prospect in this 2029 class.

Fredlaw appears hitting a real curve in his overall development based on his play with Charlotte Skill Factory 15u. Fredlaw brings a ton of versatility defensively along with an emerging offensive skillset with a crafty handle and level of quickness for his size/age. Fredlaw is active on both backboards to secure rebounds and elevates at the rim where he can finish through contact with confidence. He's an active defender with the ability to turn defense into offense as he's dynamic in transition. He's showing the ability to make outside shots as well. Chambers has another one and he looks to be coming on strong as another name to watch in NC's 2029 class.

Thomas has been a high level producer with Heat Elite 15u just as he was with East Rutherford and he does it with his physical gifts and never ending motor leading the charge. To operate with his size and athleticism, the strong consistent effort is great to see because it guarantees a level of production and impact at both ends of the floor for Thomas. He can pick or pop off of setting ball screens and provides this team with a truly versatile option in the front-court. Thomas runs the floor well and does all of the necessary big man duties while showing flashes of advancements in his game. Look for Thomas to continue asserting himself as a premier front-court option in North Carolina's 2029 class.

Oriol continues to shine for this Apex Spurs group as a dynamic on ball creator that puts constant pressure on the opposition. Oriol has the blend of a great stop and pop jumper along with a quick first step that sees him blow by defenders with relative ease. He's got complete control of this team as he runs the offense and engineers baskets for himself and others. Oriol has been a standout performer in essentially every event he's played in so far and his team has had a lot of success in the process. Oriol will be a real factor at Willow Springs next year and this travel ball season is surely an indicator of what's on the horizon for this young PG from the 919.
