[player_tooltip player_id='3589271' first='Jerrell' last='Copeland'], ABC Prep: Our new No. 1 prospect. How talented is the 6-foot-6 Copeland? He has already been offered by one D1 school – Southern Utah – with plenty more likely on the way over the next couple of years. A native of Oklahoma, he joined ABC Prep in Albuquerque in January and immediately made an enormous impact. Copeland can score from all three levels, excels in transition and applies constant pressure at the rim. His versatility and athleticism are elite.

[player_tooltip player_id='3589325' first='D'gin' last='Thomson'], Fort Sumner: The lone 2029 prospect to make the NMHSCA All-State team. The 6-foot-3 Thomson was a key catalyst in the Foxes' run to the Clas 1A state title. He averaged 10.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game in 2025-26 , earning praise as one of the top young players in Eastern New Mexico. In the 1A state tournament semifinals, he scored 15 points in Fort Sumner's victory over Cimarron. In early January, he scored 20 points in back-to-back wins over Capitan and Floyd.

He played on the varsity as an 8th-grader and averaged nearly 10 points per game. He'll enter his sophomore season have already scored 688 points in his career. If Marizcal stays healthy, he should eclipse 1,000 career points as a sophomore in 2026-27, a rare feat.

[player_tooltip player_id='2893635' first='Carlos-Rey' last='Madrid'], Cleveland: An up-and-coming prospect in the Cleveland program. He played mostly JV in 2025-26, but should begin seeing action with the varsity next season. Excelled for the Cleveland JV team by averaging about 18 points per game. He's playing for ABC Spotlight this spring and summer. Madrid is coming off a solid performance at the Denver (CO) Showcase, averaging 10 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists per game. Earlier, he averaged 10.3 points and 6.6 rebounds per game at the Las Vegas Elite Invitational in late March. Highly regarded for his relentless defense and hustle.

[player_tooltip player_id='3589333' first='Eric' last='Tsosie'], Dulce: Another young, talented scorer. Averaged 14.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game for the Hawks, who reached the Class 2A state tournament and finished with 17 wins.
