The Stage 2026: All Tournament 1st Team-14U

The performances of these athletes had a major impression on all spectators over the weekend. Every player on this list is worthy of being a part of the All Tournament 1st team.    Jamareon is a tough combo guard who is capable of playing both positions at a high level. He's a great facilitator. The majority of his assists were converted into easy points. His teammates were always in the right place, at the right time. When he moved to the shooting guard position, he became an aggressive scorer. Jamareon easily beat opponents off the dribble, attacked the basket or scored on various moves in the paint. He's a slick ball handler who used a host of dribbling moves to create for himself or others. Jamareon is an excellent scorer who converts from mid-range and beyond the three-point line. I watched him knock down a high percentage of his shots Saturday morning. He's a tenacious defender who pressed opposing guards into committing multiple turnovers. Jamareon is a promising young player who could become elite in the future.     This is my second write up of Kellen. The first time I watched him play was during last year's AAU season. At that time, he played more of the point guard role. He was a excellent scorer and facilitator. Well, he's become taller and now plays like a small forward. Kellen continues to be a great scorer. He's become more aggressive as an offensive scorer. Whenever he had a mis-match, Kellen used a variety of crafty moves to attack the basket. Some led to him being fouled and capitalizing on three-point play opportunities. Kellen has improved his ability to rebound the basketball. He didn't mind battling the opposition on either side of the court. Kellen has not lost the ability to shoot threes regardless of his physical growth. In the game against Rock Summit Basketball 14U, he was able to knock down three. On defense, he showed his versatility to guard in the post or on the perimeter. Kellen has become an excellent two-way player in his new position. I expect big things from him next season in high school.     Mack is a promising young player who showed great leadership, facilitated the basketball and scored when he needed. He's an unselfish player who always looked to get teammates involved offensively. Mack ran the [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] 2030 Black offense with precision. Whenever he pushed the pace, the team made plays. Whether it was flashy assists, open jump-shots or transition scores, Mack was the catalyst for setting up his teammates. He's an excellent ball handler who had no problem getting around opposing defenders. When he did, Mack showed a knack for drawing in defenders and kicking out passes to his teammates. He can also score the ball! Mack was great at scoring floaters in the paint or knocking down perimeter jumpers. He's a talented "floor general" who will continue to progress as he grows and matures.     Kevin is a shot maker! He's a good ball handler who easily gets around defenders and makes plays. After watching him Sunday mourning, I saw a legit shooter who was never afraid of looking for his shot. He knocked down multiple threes, attacked the basket and dished out assists to his teammates. There was a moment in the game when Kevin used a great step-back move to free himself for an open look at the basket. The move allowed him to knock the shot down while being closely defended. Whenever [program_tooltip program_id='3587267' first='Indiana' last='Impact'] 14U had an opportunity to push the ball up-court, Kevin showed the ability to finish strong in transition. Defensively, he used quick hands and great footwork to be a problem for opposing guards. Kevin is an excellent player who has the chance of becoming even greater as he continues to improve his game.     Tayeon is a play-making combo guard who is more scorer than facilitator. He has the skills to get his teammates involved with pin-point passes but I view him as a pure scorer. Tayeon excels at getting to the basket and making acrobatic lay-ups. He's great at scoring with either hand. Whenever he needed to beat a defender going right, he did so. The same applied whenever he attacked the defense going to his left. Tayeon has a nice pull-up game from the mid-range area of the floor. I watched him knock down these shots regularly throughout the game. He excelled at creating the space he needed to shoot over opposing defenders. Whenever he needed to extend his range beyond the three-point line, he did so effectively. Defensively, he forced three steals by shooting the pass lanes and intercepting careless passes thrown by Be Legendary Hoop Dreams 14U players. Tayeon is a great scoring guard who is capable of filling up the stat sheet. He plays with an edge to his game and I love it!!     Brayden showcased his skills for all to see Sunday afternoon. Whether it was playing big in the post, attacking the basket, knocking down perimeter shots or scoring in transition, Brayden was efficient from everywhere on the floor. He's a skilled rebounder who dominated the glass on both ends of the court. When he grabbed offensive rebounds, Brayden immediately put them back up around the basket. This led to the majority of his scores. Brayden's success was off sheer hustle and determination. I have always appreciated a player of his standards. He puts the team first and does all the "dirty work" needed to succeed. Whenever he had opposing players in one-on-one situations, Brayden beat them off the dribble and effectively attacked the paint. In the later parts of the game, he showed the capability of extending his shooting range beyond the three-point line. On defense, he blocked multiple shots, protected the paint and guarded on the perimeter. Brayden played like a person who was determined to win at all cost. He's an excellent player who should easily adjust to high school basketball next season.     Jordan has the capability of playing with power and finesse. He scores in the low post by taking advantage of smaller defenders. Most of his touches in the paint led to high percentage shots. Jordan can also make short perimeter shots with the ability to extend his range beyond the arc. He was un-stoppable in the match-up versus Rock Summit Basketball 14U. He scored numerous shots through contact and converted every three-point play opportunity. Jordan is a great rebounder! He attacked the glass with the same aggression as he did when he looked to score. Jordan is a great teammate. He sets screens, plays physical and continuously makes the right play. I watched a composed player with a high basketball IQ. With his skill-set, I expect Jordan to play a major role in the success of his high school team next season.      Dalen was the most dominate force inside the paint Saturday afternoon. Smaller defenders attempting to guard him were at a serious disadvantage. He played like a man among boys. On a number of occasions, Dalen used various post moves that led to scores through contact. Those baskets led to three-point play opportunities from the free-throw line. He calmly stepped up and knocked them down. Dalen's a great rebounder who attacked the boards on both ends of the court. His defensive rebounds led to outlet passes his teammates used to score in transition. The rebounds he grabbed offensively, allowed him to either score or give others second chance shot attempts. Defensively, he protected the paint by blocking shots and making scoring a difficult task for the opposition. Dalen is an excellent young player who has a bright future ahead of him. Keep working Dalen!!
