Stock Risers: Volusia/Flager Underclassmen to Watch (Part 2)

The Volusia/Flagler area has several prospects making a name for themselves on the high school and travel circuits. Here's a look at some of the underclassmen in the area whose stock is clearly on the rise.    One of the nation's top prospects, Hampton is coming off an outstanding season at DME Academy and carried that momentum into EYBL play with LivOn, where he averaged 27 points over the weekend. A scoring wing with excellent positional size, he can create his own offense off the bounce, is an above average athlete, and a reliable shot maker from the perimeter.     McCoy is a strong, high scoring guard who averaged 18.7 points and 8.9 rebounds per game for Matanzas this season. He is a confident shot maker with range and uses his quickness effectively to get downhill and finish at the rim. His physicality and motor show up on the glass, where he rebounds at a high level for his position. A consistent producer, he impacts the game in multiple ways and brings toughness and versatility to the backcourt.     The junior guard is a strong, attacking, and highly productive backcourt prospect. Outler averaged 16.8 points and 7.3 rebounds per game this season, showcasing his ability to impact the game on both ends. He is a three level scorer, but is at his best getting downhill to the rim or creating in the midrange off the bounce. A more than capable defender, he competes with physicality and rebounds well from the perimeter, adding to his overall versatility and value.     Only a freshman, Brownlee is a skilled wing with positional size and a very good feel for the game at a young age. He averaged over 20 points and 8 rebounds per game this season for the Green Wave. The freshman is a three level scorer who shows the ability to finish above the rim and moves well without the basketball. His combination of skill, instincts, and upside points to a very bright future for this 2029 prospect.     The sophomore guard averaged nearly 19 points per game for the Lions and has carried that strong production into the spring. A high level shot maker, he shows deep range and is equally comfortable shooting off the catch or creating off the dribble. He plays with a high basketball IQ, using his handle to get downhill and either finish or create scoring opportunities for teammates.
