13U action got underway at the Twin Cities Takedown with matchups taking place through out the day where players got a chance to put their skillsets on full display. Here are the players that showed up and showed out on Saturday afternoon.

At 5'11 the small forward is not afraid to fight to get to the rim, using his size to battle with defenders for the ball and drawing fouls in the process. With his combination of size and physicality Rechtzigel showed he could win down low on both sides of the ball. Whether its fighting through the lane for an easy layup or stripping a defender for a steal, Rechtzigel is willing to battle in the paint.

Wetter played a pivotal role in running the floor and knocking down jump shots in the Lightning's win over the Edina Dream Crushers on Saturday afternoon. Wetter showcased good first step quickness that allowed him to create space and shake defenders. The point guard showed off a willingness to dish out the pass and create offense when the shot isn't there, when a good look does appear Wetter is able to put up a confident shot and knock it down from beyond the arc. Wetter also showed an ability to pull the ball and drive inside to get to the rim and score.

Bartels was a presence in the paint all afternoon for the Fury, going up and grabbing rebounds with ease. The big wasn't afraid to battle down low, boxing out defenders in order to win on both the offensive and defensive glass. Bartels offensive rebounding ability helped create second chance opportunities with the big getting the tip-in layup on multiple occasions. An opportunistic defender Bartels creates turnovers and picks up the loose ball with multiple steals on Saturday afternoon.

The point guard uses his smaller stature to his advantage, with a combination of speed and good hands that allow him to shake defenders and create space. Once Dyrud has that space he nails shots from outside with a smooth, arcing jumper. Dyrud showed off a confident shot with an ability to dish out passes and create offense with ease.

Tobin was a key part of the Jaguars win over MN Fury in the Gold Championship on Saturday. The big won on the glass all game long, creating second chance opportunities with offense boards and working his way into the paint for easy buckets. Tobin came up with a number of blocks on defense while also showing a physicality in the paint to draw fouls. Tobin cleaned up at the charity stripe late in the game to secure the win for the Jaguars.
