Thomas Cleveland (Futures Elite-1): The 6'4 forward from Nebraska was a force in the opening game as he scored 29 points. He used his strength to establish position in the paint and he repeatedly scored with his soft touch. He was very nimble with his footwork as he used drop steps and spin moves inside. He set solid screens and he caught the ball well as a roller. He also had a nice jump hook over the left shoulder.

Evan Wagner (Kruse Basketball Academy Gold): A talented guard who came off the bench and made things happen the moment he stepped on the court. He scored on a drive, then darting into the passing lanes for a steal and transition layup. He did a good job of baiting the offense into making seemingly safe passes before he would steal them. He raised the level of his team's play with his high energy.

Alex Bettis (Kansas 94x50): A 6'3" forward who was a workhorse from start to finish as he led his team to a victory in the game that I watched. A bull in a china shop is the best way to describe his game and he was very tough to handle. He was driving into the lane with power and finishing through contact. He also worked in the low post very effectively as he used his physical strength. He was also a very solid ball handler in the open court and he knocked down a pair of 3-pointers.

[player_tooltip player_id='3595567' first='Colton' last='Mantzey'] [program_tooltip program_id='2400647' first='KC' last='Sixers Supreme']): A 6'2 forward from Lone Jack who scored 18 points in the opening game that I watched. He is a rugged player who loved the contact. He was driving with aggression and looking to deliver the bumps to defenders. He finished well and got himself to the free throw line. His motor ran high throughout the entire game. He also knocked down a pair of 3-pointers from the opposite corners.

Quincy Dixon (Team Together): A talented point guard from Kansas who plays a pass first style with his ability locate teammates from anywhere on the court. He was dropping dimes on the pick and roll with pocket passes and looking ahead on the break with lead passes that were on the money. He was also a capable scorer who could create his own shot with his smooth handles and change of pace.

[player_tooltip player_id='2831189' first='Alex' last='Oehlert'] ([program_tooltip program_id='3560763' first='Kansas' last='City Basketball Academy'] 1): A 6'4" combo forward from Lee's Summit West who displayed a smooth shooting stroke from 3-point range. He knocked down four 3-pointers off the pick and pop, which he shot with confidence. He also has good length and athleticism. He used his wingspan to block and challenge shots inside and on the perimeter. He has good mobility and he can handle the ball when he needed to.
