<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>2026 Del Norte guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1717253' first='Francois' last='Satchivi']</strong> secured another opportunity to play college basketball when Colorado College extended an offer on Sunday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Colorado College, which competes in men's basketball at the Division III level in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, is located in Colorado Springs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Satchivi has also been offered by JUCO Palo Verde College in California.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This past season, Satchivi led Del Norte to the quarterfinals of the Class 4A state tournament by averaging 19.4 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. He scored nearly 550 points for the Knights.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Satchivi is an outstanding 3-point shooter, connecting on an impressive 49.4 percent (83-168) of his shots from beyond the arc this past season. He also shot 77 percent from the free throw line.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>BROWN TAKES VISIT</strong>: 2028 Sandia guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2714567' first='Isaiah' last='Brown']</strong>, the District 5A-2 Player of the Year and a First-Team All-State selection, visited Northern New Mexico College in Espanola on Monday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brown is one of the top players in the 2028 class. He had one of the best all-around seasons by any player in the state in 2025-26. He led Sandia in scoring (14.8 ppg), assists (6.5 apg) and steals (5.9 spg), and finished second in rebounds (5.9 rpg). Brown is also a dazzling ballhandler and excellent 3-point shooter for the high tempo Matadors.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In a single game this past season, Brown scored 17 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, dished out 8 assists and had 15 steals, falling just short of an extremely rare quadruple double.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Out of his 159 field goals made in 2025-26, nearly half (78) were 3-pointers. As a team, Sandia buried 274 3-pointers. In 2024-25, the Matadors set a new state record for most 3-pointers by a team in a single season.
