Queen City Clash - 2026 and 2027 Pure Hoopers (Part 1)

Prep Hoops covered the Queen City Clash April 24-26 at the Queen City Sportsplex in Cincinnati, Ohio!! There were a number of outstanding performances from all the classes during this past weekend's event!! Today, let's look at our first set of standout players from the classes of 2026 and 2027!!    Where do I even begin when talking about Sito's game! He was one of the most impressive and physically dominating players of Queen City Clash! He has exceptional measurements and length for his position and immediately turns heads when he steps onto the court! His athleticism and burst is truly next-level as he immediately jumps out as the best player on the floor. He is a lethal shot creator in transition with his ability to attack the basket or quickly pull up for his jump shot with ease. Kingston Sito greatly commands the highest level of attention by the defense when he is on the floor. He is completely capable of just taking over the game offensively and converting baskets with ease. Sito plays under control at all times on the court and constantly made winning plays for [program_tooltip program_id='2673282' first='Ohio' last='Basketball Club'] (OBC) 17U - 1 all game! He clearly has the chance to play for a high level college program or prep school. As a scout, it was exciting to watch his game and will be exciting to follow this senior's journey at the next level!     Starling has insane athleticism and hops for his position! He is an explosive athlete who loves to get out and run for easy transition baskets. On top of being an outstanding transition finisher he is also elite at making flashy athletic passes. He displayed outstanding chemistry with all his teammates! Rodrick Starling is capable of converting through contact at the rim and flat out taking over games offensively. This senior truly impressed many evaluators throughout the weekend in Cincinnati!   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/04/Rodrick-Starling-2026-64-CG--rotated-crop-4284x2813-1777604544.jpeg"><img src="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/04/Rodrick-Starling-2026-64-CG--rotated-crop-4284x2813-1777604544.jpeg?w=800" alt="" class="wp-image-3621453" /></a></figure>     Campbell Jr. is flat out an absolute hooper on the court! This point guard is able to create his own shot whenever he wants attacking the defense by pulling up and through attacking the rim. He's a very quick twitch guard who loves to show his competitive fire on both ends of the floor! Campbell Jr. plays under control as a scorer and facilitator making the right plays for his team each time down the floor. I love his ability to rebound and run in transition pushing the tempo looking to score with no hesitation! Jordan Campbell Jr. is also a complete knockdown from behind the arc offensively, creating and getting his shot off with ease! It was encouraging and fun to evaluate this guard's game as I see a very high ceiling for his future!     Terry is a lethal catch and shoot scorer! He demonstrates a pure and consistent shooting stroke from behind the arc. Malik Terry is also a stellar defender who sits down in a stance and challenges the opposing ball handler as a pressure defender. I liked his high motor and intensity that which he plays the game with. Terry was surely a top performer this weekend at the Queen City Clash!     A big and strong forward who makes his presence felt on both ends of the floor. Chase plays with an elite intensity that which is hard to match. He uses his large frame to create contact on box outs securing rebounds. When he is in the game, offensive rebounds are his as he crashes with a purpose! He is also very capable of converting inside baskets despite any form of contact from the defense. [player_tooltip player_id='2858475' first='Chase' last='Pinkerton'] is a force to be reckoned with on both ends of the floor.     What an interesting prospect! Matthew Dick immediately catches your eye with his incredible size and force on both ends of the floor. He's a complete matchup nightmare! This 6'8" forward can get his shot in the paint whenever he wants and is capable of converting through any form of contact! He has great hands for his size and moves his feet well on the defensive end of the floor. I was greatly impressed with his lateral movement for his size. Matthew Dick is very skilled and an all-around powerful big that greatly stood out to me immediately on the court in Cincinnati!     Wagner is a unique versatile forward who can play and matchup with multiple positions. He is capable of creating for himself off the dribble as he rises and fires threes and midrange shots with ease! Outstanding shooter! Wagner also brings a toughness to the game being able to attack the basket and convert through contact. I really see a high upside in his game due to his ability to play multiple positions on both ends of the floor. Being 6'3" helps him get his shot off at a high release point which can't easily be blocked. Wagner has a level of confidence in his game that you can't quite teach. You either have it or you don't, and Cade Wagner clearly has a it!
