Prep Hoops Chi-Town Tip Off – Ramsey’s Saturday Standouts, Part 2

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There is essentially no down time when it comes to the basketball calendar anymore. Just two weekends ago in Indiana we crowed our four State Champions. Then, last weekend, the Final Four came to town. Now I have officially put boots on the ground and kick-started our spring coverage of the Prep Hoops Circuit. This annual trip to Romeoville for the Chi-Town Tip Off has essentially become my unofficial spring opener. After spending all day Saturday at the Romeoville Athletic Center I have plenty of content to turn out. The 5'10" left-handed guard scored it off of the bounce consistently. We had the opportunity to see Brancati pour in four three-point shots on his way to a game-high 22 points in an impressive 73-46 victory. A trio of three-point shots got the 6'2" guard going as he then was able to loosen up the defense and score around the basket as the game went along. Gall was very quick with the ball in his hands and always seemed to make sound decisions as a playmaker. He played with good pace, made the right reads from a live dribble, and could flip into scoring mode when needed as well. He consistently slashed his way to the basket off of the dribble, attacked closeouts, and finished in transition. Tisinger was one of them. The 6'0" guard shot it well from three-point range and then started to have success attacking closeouts as they got more and more aggressive to try and take him away.
