[player_tooltip player_id='2140346' first='Dakori' last='Parker'] 5-10 South Bend Riley Had an up and down weekend both literally and figuratively. Injured in the opener. Missed the second game on Saturday. Came back on Sunday and gutted out a win against a good Meanstreets EYCL squad. While he finished with 18 points in that contest. I was impressed with how he did it. Perhaps knowing that he was not at full health and without his usual burst. He adjusted to playing more off the ball than what I was used to seeing. He moved well in sets and came off of screens properly. Caught the ball in the shooting motion. Picked his spots judiciously on penetration. As the outside shot opened up driving lanes. One of my favorite players from April wrapped up the month in a major way. Eager to see if he can will his team to some eye-opening victories at the Run N Slam next weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140369' first='Griffyn' last='Robisch'] 6-7 Park Tudor [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game']'s UA squad has a really good backcourt (see above) and a huge frontline. What about the players in between? Robsich had a strong weekend as a prototypical combo forward (3/4) A good enough ball handler with quick enough feet to play and guard the three spot. While also possessing the vertical size and wiry strength to play down on the block. The size allows him to easily shoot over most defenders. Good enough athlete to finish above the rim. Had some emphatic finishes this weekend. Aggressive player who sought out contact and got to the foul line often. Finished with 11 points his squad aforementioned big win over Meanstreets EYCL.

Conor Bruegmann 6-10 La Lumiere Prep The German big man ran with La Lumiere's regional squad last season. Getting some more work with Meansreets EYCL squad. Held up well against [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game']'s bigger and more lauded frontline. This was admirable as he was giving up a lot of weight in this matchup. Bruegmann is very slender but has long arms that make him a factor at the rim defensively. Also showed a soft touch around the basket and finished from unique angles. Though he did get displaced at times on block. Competed hard down low and did not seem to mind contact. Still has a distance to developmentally. However, with his foreign origin, not sure how long he has been playing basketball. Is in two strong developmental programs. With some weight and skill expansion. Could be a late blooming prospect.

Azarion Lemons 6-4 Michigan City (pictured) Led a different [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] squad (not UAA) to a perfect 4-0 record on the weekend. Not the most complex type of game, but highly effective. Lived at and above the rim despite only being 6-4. Did this with a condor-like wingspan and the ability to get off the ground quickly. Excellent lob threat and had several powerful dunks in his Sunday finale. Walled up massively with the previously mentioned wide wingspan and was a major deterrent at the rim. Finished with 12 pints in the finale.

[player_tooltip player_id='3615879' first='Luke' last='Holok'] 6-2 Crown Point Smooth shooting two guard had a nice weekend in leading his squad to undefeated record on the weekend. Excellent form shooter with a high release point and follow through. More than just a standstill shooter though. Used to the dribble to create looks in the mid-range. Good athlete who rose over defenders. Got his looks within the flow of the offense. Put up 17 points in the Sunday closer. Probably could have been more if he hunted his own shot in the lopsided affair. As an out of state scout, I have to wonder if the Culver Academy transfer is a little under the radar.
