6'1 combo-guard from [program_tooltip program_id='3581271' first='Queens' last='Defenders'] is a solid glue guy that made a variety of plays against [program_tooltip program_id='2078612' first='NY' last='Finest']. Even in a difficult matchup, Garces showed he can contribute on both ends of the floor. He showed he can really get in your face as a defender both on and off the ball. In addition to creating a few turnovers with tipped passes. He also showcased a smooth shooting stroke on the offensive end.

5'9” 2029 prospect who played up two age levels on the 17u ICE team. When watching him, he was incredibly impressive with his footwork on defense. Always keeping his man in front of jim to prevent blow by's. He also made key plays in transition throughout this contest while showing a unique ability to make quick passes and score inside. He'll surely be a name to watch on the east coast. Top 15 prospect in his class in New Jersey.

16u [program_tooltip program_id='3581271' first='Queens' last='Defenders'] prospect was the guy you can rely on when you need a big bucket. In the midst of a tight game vs Ice, Omorjan knocked down a key 3-pointer to keep them in the game. Then translated that to the defensive end by forcing a few missed shots with his underrated length.

Mateo was the only prospect I knew on the Lightning 2029 squad that picked up a dominant win over [program_tooltip program_id='3581271' first='Queens' last='Defenders'] Saturday afternoon. His speed was what stood out the most. Both with and without the ball, as there were several instances where he blew by a defender and found an open cut to the rim.His passing was also very efficient in this game.

16u Queen Defenders Damien prospect played really well Sunday. Only 5'4” right now, but showed he can finish over larger defenders with a crisp and-one finish. Later showed an ability to fire from long distance. As a ball handler, he's very skilled and had moments where he burst through defenders.

Another [program_tooltip program_id='3581271' first='Queens' last='Defenders'] prospect who put on a clinic Sunday morning. The creativity was on full display as he found his way to the basket on numerous occasions with pump fakes and good footwork attacking the rim. But as a passer, he was just as productive. One of my favorite moments from him came in the first half of that game where he dished a no-look assist over his head to a cutting teammate.
