[player_tooltip player_id='3576803' first='Omar' last='Long'] (Vianney): A 6'1" shooting guard who emerged as one of the top perimeter marksmen in the entire class. He lit it up from 3-point range to the tune of 50 percent from long distance on a high volume of attempts. He ended up making 80 triples during the season in helping the Golden Griffins to 24 victories and a district championship. He has beautiful form and a quick release on his shot as he averaged 11 points a game on a well balanced team. He scored a season-high 24 points, including six 3-pointers against Sikeston in the state quarterfinals in the final game of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='3535266' first='Shaun' last='Cole Jr'] (Sikeston, Pictured): The 6'1" guard from the SEMO area emerged as one of the top sixth men in the state. He hit one of biggest shots in the school's storied basketball history with a last second corner 3-pointer that gave the Bulldogs a victory over Vianney in the Class 5 state quarterfinals. In another big game against Jackson for the SEMO Conference title, he came off the bench to score a team-high 17 points in another Bulldogs victory. He understands his assignment. He comes in and injects his team with his offensive firepower. He has good quickness along with the ability to score from all three levels. He helped the Bulldogs to 29 wins and a berth in the Class 5 state championship game.

[player_tooltip player_id='3576828' first='Qua' last='Allen'] (Sikeston): A 5'11" point guard who is part of a very talented group of 2028s at Sikeston. He has a nice combination of physical strength and quickness which enables him to excel. He has the ability to touch the paint on a regular basis with his dribble penetration and he can finish inside in the lane. He can also pull up and knock down 3-pointers if the defenders back up and give him a step. He was also a big part of the Bulldogs run to the Class 5 championship game with his play off the bench.

[player_tooltip player_id='3576819' first='Jett' last='James'] (Branson): A 5'11" point guard who is a nice up and coming player in the SWMO area. After playing limited minutes as a freshman, he stepped into a much bigger role this season and he handled it well. He has the ability to impact the game in a variety of ways. He can set up his teammates with his playmaking ability and he can also call his own number and create his own offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2833574' first='Triston' last='Howard'] (CBC): A 6'0" combo guard who is a talented offensive player on a team full of excellent young guards. He caught my attention early in the season with his 23-point performance against host Webster Groves in the semifinals of the Webster Classic. He can play at his own pace and he has the ability to score at all three levels. He can operate well with two feet in the lane as he can score on the pull up jumper or take the contact and still get a bucket or draw the foul. He can also hit the 3-point shot to keep defenders honest. He averaged 11 points a game along with two rebounds and three assists as a sophomore.

[player_tooltip player_id='2950207' first='Caston' last='McConnell'] (Greenwood): A 6'4' guard who is a talented young player in the SWMO area. He plays the game with a nice flow with his ability to move without the basketball and get himself open. He can shoot it well from 3-point range and he can also drive it effectively. He also has good length and anticipation to make plays on the defensive end.
