<p class="text-gray-700">Carter Burgess did a strong job of slowing down opposing players at the Jr. EYBL Open Southeast Session 1, making things difficult with his defensive presence. He stayed in front, contested effectively, and remained disciplined throughout possessions. His effort on that end helped disrupt offensive flow. He also communicated well and stayed engaged within the team defensive structure.</p>

He applied pressure, stayed in front of opposing guards, and consistently made things uncomfortable. His activity and lateral movement allowed him to defend at a high level. He also did a good job of contesting shots and disrupting rhythm.</p>

He played with discipline, stayed low, and made it difficult for guards to get by him. His on-ball defense stood out throughout the weekend. He also contested effectively and forced opponents into tough looks.</p>
