The NW Hoop Summit took place this past weekend and we had the opportunity to drop by Centennial High School on Saturday to catch 16U D1 bracket play. Here's a look at some of the top performers from the games we watched.

For the second weekend in a row, we noticed the length and athleticism that [player_tooltip player_id='3230974' first='Caleb' last='Watson'] provides on the wing. The Tigard sophomore used those traits and a soft touch to score around the hoop for [program_tooltip program_id='2948386' first='Oregon' last='Flash'] 16U but also showed good range on his shot. Great instincts defensively too with both steals and blocks.

Ahmed catches our eye each time we have seen him play this spring. The sophomore wing who played at Wells last season simply plays hard on every possession on both ends, outrebounds bigger opponents, and makes the right play. He hit some big shots for [program_tooltip program_id='2948386' first='Oregon' last='Flash'] 16U in a win.

We were really intrigued with the play of Songolo. The Central Catholic sophomore is a bit unorthodox with his game but his moves keep the defense off balance. He used his length and these moves to create off the bounce for himself and his PDX Reign teammates in a 16U win.

Fully capable of simply passing and running the offense, Gray was in his scoring mode at the NW Hoop Summit. The Reynolds freshman had his perimeter jumper going from three and was just as effective getting to the basket for buckets too as Dynasty 15U cruised to an easy win.

We're just starting to get familiar with the Class of 2030 and one thing's for sure - if he plays his high school basketball in Oregon (it could be in SoCal), Tanner is definitely one of the best we've seen so far. We were extremely impressed with the eighth grader as he already has an mature physique and is a skilled point guard with advanced dribble drive moves and a good shot from the perimeter. His father is former Oregon State star guard Dino Tanner.
