Georgia 2027 High Academic Prospects (Part 2)

Here's a look at a handful of 2027 prospects who not only produce at a high level on the court but also excel in the classroom. These well rounded student-athletes have the potential to draw interest from basketball programs at some of the nation's top academic colleges and universities.    One of the nation's top wing prospects, Tisby also stands out in the classroom with a 4.2 GPA. A long, athletic wing with good size, he can knock down threes both off the catch and off the bounce, with his shooting consistency continuing to improve. He is a solid defender and continues to trend upward as a high level prospect.     Another one of the state's top 2027 prospects who also excels in the classroom, Chandler is a skilled guard with above-average athleticism. The junior was a First Team All-Region selection for North Cobb Christian this season. He is a three level scorer with a high basketball IQ and shows the ability to operate as a secondary ball handler, adding to his overall versatility and value as a prospect.     Long is a skilled big man who can score from the midrange and shows good footwork around the rim. He is athletic enough to finish above the rim and brings decent strength to the position. His developing skill set and touch make him a reliable frontcourt option and a prospect to watch this offseason.     Dos Santos is a versatile, productive combo guard with good size. He plays with poise and makes sound decisions, capable of handling secondary ball handling duties. A lefty who can knock down open shots, he also finishes effectively in the paint and has the athleticism to get above the rim. With good vision and feel, he consistently creates opportunities for both himself and his teammates.     Wright averaged 17.7 points per game this season for Wheeler County. A guard with good size and length, he fills the stat sheet with his all around production. He gets downhill effectively and finishes in the paint, while his above average athleticism adds to his impact. An improving perimeter shot maker, he also sees the floor well and can find teammates, making him a well rounded backcourt prospect.
