The grassroots season is officially in overdrive, and if the last few weeks in West Monroe taught us anything, it's that the region's talent pool is as deep as ever. As programs collided and prospects battled for exposure, the gyms were buzzing with breakout performances, high-flying athleticism, and under-the-radar hoopers stepping into the spotlight. With the summer live periods fast approaching, players are visibly locking in on their development and leaving it all on the floor to elevate their recruitment stock. Here are some of the players to know from around the state. He is more aggressive and seeking contact to finish with his developing frame. He is already known as a high IQ shooter, but he continues to push himself to grow his game. Peek remains a player to watch in the talented young group of Louisiana prospects and appears to be on the steady path to growth. The last two AAU Sessions in Monroe were an opportunity for him to show his skills and abilities. Sean is a facilitator and a scorer that excels on the perimeter, but is not afraid to move off the line and get to the goal and create for his team mates. This could be a big summer for him leading into his senior season where he will undoubtedly lead the west Ouachita team.       Cryer is a nicely sized guard with a high motor and a strong will to win. On several plays where it looked like he was defended well, he still found a way to finish. He is explosive on his way to the basket and makes quick decisions in the flow of the game. He chases down rebounds on misses and keeps his energy high from tip-off to the final buzzer. He is certainly a prospect to watch.     Bell is a high-energy prospect who constantly works to get downhill, using his elite athleticism to make things happen on the floor. He has a smooth stroke from the mid-range and utilizes a highly effective floater in the lane. Furthermore, he is constantly communicating with his teammates, an invaluable trait, especially in showcase environments alongside new players. Keep an eye out for this gifted athletic playmaker this summer.     Jordan is a big guard with an incredibly high motor. He works hard to get to the rim and always finishes strong. In a tough matchup against BDA, he locked in and completely controlled the pace of the game by facilitating for teammates and scoring in his spots. His ceiling is exceptionally high, and Karr will be extremely dangerous with him in the lineup next season. He has a deep offensive bag and a fantastic on-court attitude.
