One of the elite programs in the western part of the state, Western Christian has been a regular at the state tournament for a long time. A program that tends to reload rather than reset, they've still got some stars returning from last season's squad, including three of their top four scorers on the roster.

Multi-sport star that stepped up in a massive way for the Wolfpack this winter, sophomore standout [player_tooltip player_id='2772345' first='Tayden' last='Moret'] will be expected to be one of 2A's top guards once again this coming season. A 6-foot-1 playmaking guard that wouldn't take no for an answer when it came to attacking off the dribble this season, Moret is a hard-nosed, tough prospect that can score in a variety of ways, too. Stepping up part way through the season when then-leading scorer, 6-foot-7 forward Landon DeStigter went down with an injury, Moret will be able to lean on all his experience as the go-to scorer during his junior campaign, making he and WC dangerous once again.

As a sophomore, he put up 19.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2 steals per game for the Wolfpack -- all team-leading statistics. If he can get some more consistent help in a few of those statistical categories, he and Western will be a tough matchup for any opponent.

Luckily for Moret, he will be joined once again by junior forward [player_tooltip player_id='3344376' first='Preston' last='Louters'] and sophomore forward, Toby Van Regenmorter. Each playing in the front court, the duo are the two other top returners on the squad next season, as Louters put up 10.8 points per contest, while Van Regenmorter added 9.8 per game. They combined for 8.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists, as well.

In need of some added size to the lineup, the WolfPack also return 2028s Tate Hall and Elliot Blankespoor, two 6-foot-5 prospects that could help protect the rim. Blankespoor is a Division I football prospect, which should help WC on the boards and in rim-protection.
