[player_tooltip player_id='3166024' first='Brody' last='Booher'] Mountain Ridge +41

An undersized scoring guard who gained confidence as the season went on. I had people mention him to me how well he was playing in stretches with making shots from all over the court. He can get a step on his defender to the rim, score in transition but he is a shot maker from the three point line.

[player_tooltip player_id='2767958' first='Titan' last='Jacobs'] Canyon View +40

One of the glue players on the team has grown two inches since last year and brings some toughness to do some little things that add up to winning. He is good at moving his feet quickly and holding his opponent better than many. He will also hit the three and could end up being a long term 3 and D type.

[player_tooltip player_id='2755997' first='Joseph' last='Gutierrez'] Mesquite +39

A long and taller guard will most likely get his chance to shine on varsity next year. He uses his length and athleticism to play the passing lanes and rebound. He will score with mid-range pull-ups and can get a step on his defender to the basket and changes speeds smartly.

[player_tooltip player_id='2750689' first='Bryce' last='Whiting'] San Tan Charter +38

A decent sized point guard was one of their top bench players all season long on a very talented small school team. He can guide the offense with smart reads and takes care of the ball plus scores it with threes, mid-range pull-ups and quick drives.

[player_tooltip player_id='3148675' first='Jackson' last='Ronning'] Queen Creek +36

A power forward who is undersized but comes with a little toughness and some serious springs. He leaps up in a blink of an eye to rebound, block shots or dunk the ball. He will score it inside versus bigger players and hit the occasional perimeter jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id='2640547' first='Christian' last='Brown'] Boulder Creek +30

A versatile wing forward with feel and next level passing skills who can defend a few positions. He made the move from Liberty HS and he brings some rare experience, toughness, passing and skill. He rebounds well, gets downhill in traffic to score and will hit the three.

[player_tooltip player_id='2466738' first='Dewey' last='Henry'] Ironwood +29

One of the most skilled lead guards in 5A and the sophomore class. He has a smooth stroke from mid to the three point line and a sudden burst of speed he utilizes to jet past his defenders. He has plus court vision to find teammates but he is a walking bucket.

[player_tooltip player_id='2763917' first='Tyler' last='Lake'] Gilbert +29

A strong combo guard got called up this season to varsity and comes in off the bench and is ready to produce. He will score with downhill takes in traffic using his nice handle and frame to carve out some space, hit the three and shoot it from mid-range. He may get even more work next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2386974' first='Nasir' last='Hailey'] Saguaro +26

A strong point guard who is almost a bully getting downhill to the basket. He has a deceptively quick first step combined with his strength, size and tighter handle to carve out space and score easily thru the contact. He is getting more athletic and he is hitting perimeter jumpers better than a year ago.

[player_tooltip player_id='2552741' first='Mekhi' last='Neeley-Davis'] Dream City +24

A powerfully built combo guard has strength and athleticism he can play a few positions. He is a menace on the ball defensively with his quicker feet, length and strong, stocky frame. He rebounds well for a guard and will score with perimeter jumpers and get downhill better then most guards in the class.
