As we continue to follow players progressing to the next level, The Showcase brought together multiple junior college prospects who shined during their high school careers. While each of these players continues on their respective journeys, it's rewarding to look back and see how far they've come since their high school days. I'll break down what each player did well on Saturday in Kansas City and explore what the next steps might look like for each of them.

Josiah Kirkwood | 5'10" Guard | Sophomore | Butler Community College

Formerly Grandview High School (MO)

Coming off a big year at Butler, Kirkwood performed exactly as expected on Saturday. The quickest and most explosive guard on hand, he displayed a tight handle and the ability to consistently break down defenders. His long-range shooting was sharp, knocking down perimeter shots even off the dribble. He played aggressively on both ends and maintained a high motor for extended stretches.

This past season, he averaged 12.7 points and 3.9 assists while shooting 45% from the field, helping Butler to a 25-10 record and a berth in the Quarterfinals of the NJCAA DI Men's Tournament.

Tyrell Smith | 6'3" Guard | Sophomore | Missouri State University - West Plains

Formerly Sumner High School (FL)

Smith's rise at Missouri–West Plains this year was both impressive and closely watched. On Saturday, he stood out as the most physical and next-level-ready perimeter player. With a strong frame and the ability to shoot efficiently from deep, he really made an impact. His quick trigger and unlimited range put continuous pressure on defenders, whether pulling up off the dribble or finding space off the ball.

Coming off a season where he averaged 10.3 points and 3.0 rebounds per game while shooting 33% from deep, he was a key piece of the Grizzlies' attack throughout the year.

Trey Fulcher | 6'3" Guard | Freshman | Johnson County Community College

Formerly Kingdom Collegiate Academy (TX)

Fulcher's stock is rising rapidly after he made a strong impression at Johnson County this past winter. His length and ball-handling ability immediately stand out, as he manipulated ball screens throughout the day while consistently finding or creating space for himself. While his shooting and overall scoring were impressive, it was also his defensive presence — getting into a stance and keeping the ball in front — that set him apart from many other guards.

He posted averages of 9.9 points and 4.6 rebounds per game on a team that finished 31-3, placing him among the top tier of young NJCAA DII guards with significant potential.

Avian Webb | 5'11" Guard | Freshman | Johnson County Community College

Formerly Staley High School (MO)

Avian, another freshman at Johnson County playing alongside Fulcher, put together multiple strong scoring outbursts that turned heads throughout the season. He continued to showcase his offensive skill set at The Showcase, using a quick and elusive handle to create space or attack gaps, forcing defensive rotations. From there, he displayed a well-rounded game — shooting, finishing at the rim, and distributing — getting many teammates involved with effective passing.

Averaging 14.0 points and 2.5 assists per game while shooting 36% from three, he has become an extremely intriguing prospect for many programs.

Manasseh Stackhouse, Jr. | 6'7" Forward | Freshman | Cloud County Community College

Formerly Indian Trail High School (WI)

MJ was one of the leaders for a Cloud County program that finished 18-14 in the rugged KJCCC. A strong and powerful forward capable of playing both inside and out, Stackhouse had stretches where he dominated the interior with efficient finishing, as well as moments where he controlled the glass as a rebounder. His mobility combined with his size also showed up when he faced up and attacked off the wing.

In a season where he averaged 13.9 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, his size and dynamic play put him in a category that continues to draw interest from multiple Division I programs this spring.

Xavier Wilson | 6'7" Forward | Freshman | Indian Hills Community College

Formerly Staley High School (MO)

The long and athletic Wilson was one of the most noticeable players, standing out with his combination of size and length up front. At his best in transition, he ran the floor exceptionally well and finished multiple dunks with authority, showcasing a high ceiling as he continues to refine his offensive game. Defensively and on the glass, Wilson made a strong impact in Kansas City, controlling the painted area while challenging and contesting numerous shot attempts.

Contributing on one of the top junior college teams all season at Indian Hills, the Warriors finished 30-3, with Wilson averaging 7.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game while shooting over 55% from the field.

Kam Williams | 6'3" Guard | Freshman | Cloud County Community College

Formerly J. L. Mann High School (SC)

Williams rounded out a strong group of guards at The Showcase. Another active perimeter player, Kam showed he could handle the ball and score off it, creating a versatile offensive profile that let him pick and choose his spots effectively throughout the day.

With his size, he was also able to play over smaller defenders at times, reading defenses and making smart decisions. Averaging 7.2 points per game as a freshman this year, he looks ready to continue his development over the summer, with a bright future ahead.

Elidjah Savane | 6'9" Forward | Sophomore | Cloud County Community College

Formerly Lycee Joliot-Curie High School (FRA)

The top true big prospect at the event, Savane moved well and communicated effectively on the defensive end. Using his length, he was able to cover ball screens, contest shots, and clean up defensive possessions with strong rebounding. He stayed active early and often, pursuing loose balls and working inside to create space against smaller opponents.

Elidjah's strength around the basket also helped him finish through contact and generate extra scoring opportunities at the rim. Averaging 11.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game this year, it's easy to see why attention immediately follows Savane when he's on the floor.
