The high school basketball season in Southern California has come to a close and now it's time to recognize the region's top players with our series of positional lists. last week we took a closer look at 12 All-Southern California guards and now we turn our attention to the wing position. Selections were based on individual production and team success in non-league, league and playoff games.

[player_tooltip player_id='2131779' first='Brandon' last='McCoy'], Jr. | 2026 | Sierra Canyon

McCoy remains one of the top uncommitted players in the country and was among the most consistent two-way performers for Sierra Canyon in its trips to the CIF Southern Section and State Open Division championships. The 6-foot-5 wing averaged 19.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.2 steals per game while showcasing his elite physical and athletic tools to go along with his versatility on both ends of the floor. McCoy will have his choice of high major collegiate programs and they'll be getting a high motor slasher who brings winning qualities to the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2131780' first='Christian' last='Collins'] | 2026 | St. John Bosco

Collins recently pledged to USC after leading St. John Bosco to a Trinity League title, a Southern Section Open Division appearance and to the Regional Finals of the State Division 1 playoffs. The wiry 6-foot-8 wing has evolved into one of the highest ceiling perimeter players in the country as his improved ball handling and shooting ability is highlighted by his quick-twitch athleticism and fluid movements on both ends of the floor. Collins earned the Trinity League MVP and McDonald's All-American nod after averaging better than 26 points and nine rebounds during his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956481' first='Eli' last='Garner'] | 2026 | Damien

Garner can be categorized as a shooting guard/wing forward type whose best ability is his shooting ability. The 6-foot-4 senior is one of Southern California's most under-appreciated perimeter players who has a skill that translates immediately to the highest levels with his lethal off-movement and off-catch three-point shooting. Garner put up strong numbers this season with averages of 18 points and seven rebounds per game while helping lead Damien to a a league title, Open Division playoff berth and a State Division 1 championship.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194355' first='Gene' last='Roebuck'] | 2027 | La Mirada

What Roebuck did at La Mirada this season was nothing short of impressive. The 6-foot-5 wing was the focal point of every opposing defense he faced and still managed to show what a talented scorer he is while leading the Matadores to a Gateway League title and berths in the Southern Section and State Division 1 playoffs. Roebuck's combination of physicality, footwork, off-bounce space creation and pure shot-making ability led to his 22.5 points per game average during his junior campaign. When it comes to scoring versatility among SoCal high school players, few can fill up the scoring column inside and out like Roebuck.

Jagger Saul | 2027 | Murrieta Mesa

Saul is the most under-the-radar prospect on this list but his impact for his team was just as big for his Murrieta Mesa team as the big names he's mentioned with here. The 6-foot-5 junior was one of the most prolific shooters in Southern California this season as he connected on 65-for-129 from three-point range, good for a staggering 50.4% rate. Saul was also a mobile transition finisher and timely off-ball cutter who averaged 18.8 points and 6.6 rebounds while leading the Rams to the Southern Section Division 3 title.

[player_tooltip player_id='2435388' first='Jasiah' last='Williams'] | 2027 | Crespi

Williams' didn't amass huge numbers from a purely statistical standpoint but his impact as a three-man and small-ball four was the most important piece for Crespi to compete in the schedule it played. The 6-foot-4 junior guarded multiple positions, competed on the glass inside against much bigger players and was one of the best transition slashers and half-court drivers and finishers in the region. Williams averaged 10.9 points and four rebounds per game as the Celts finished with 21 wins and a berth in the Southern Section Open Division playoff field.

[player_tooltip player_id='2336388' first='Josh' last='Agbo'] | 2028 | Corona Centennial

Agbo made a big jump offensively in his sophomore year which propelled Centennial back into the top of the Big VIII League standings and a return to the Southern Section Open Division playoff field. The 6-foot-4 wing is one of the more physical and powerful downhill drivers in the region and his size and physical and athletic tools allowed him to guard multiple positions defensively. The biggest improvement Agbo made was to the consistency of his catch-and-shoot three point shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='2622343' first='Nick' last='Giarrusso'] | 2026 | Crean Lutheran

It's hard to pinpoint a position for Giarrusso because his combination of size, basketball IQ, vision and feel for the game allows him to operate effectively in just about every position on the floor. The wiry 6-foot-5 wing has the ball skills and passing ability to play on the ball and possesses the off-ball movement, cutting and driving ability to slide off the ball and impact the game as a slasher. Giarrusso averaged 11.5 points per game on the season but made countless IQ and effort plays that helped Crean win the Southern Section Division 1 title and reach the State Regional Semifinals.

Nolan Newman-Gomez | 2026 | Hesperia

The 6-foot-7 senior paced the Scorpions to a historic season that saw them reach the CIF Southern Section Division 2 championship game after an upset win over Santa Ana Mater Dei that will go down as one of the bigger upsets in recent playoff memory. Newman-Gomez is a jack-of-all-trades type of player who stretched the floor to the three-point line consistently and used his size advantage to score efficiently around the basket.

OJ Popoola | 2027 | Palisades

Palisades was a different team once Popoola was cleared to play and entered the Dolphins' starting lineup. The 6-foot-5 wing is one of the most explosive open court and in-space athletes in the state and, when you add in his perimeter jump shooting skill and ability to finish through and above contact, you have a mid to high major recruit. Popoola helped Palisades win the Western League title and the CIF City Section Open Division championship.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956526' first='SJ' last='Madison'] | 2026 | Redondo Union

Madison brought a physical and explosive presence to both sides of the floor as he emerged as one of SoCal's best slashers and finishers and one of the region's premier perimeter defenders. The 6-foot-5 senior, headed to Nevada, was nearly impossible to stop with a full head of steam in downhill, transition situations. Madison also established himself as one of the best mid-range scorers in the area with his high elevation, left-bounce pull-up jumper being one of the most unguardable shots in SoCal. Madison led Redondo to 27 wins, an undefeated Bay League title and appearances in the Southern Section and State Open Division playoffs.
