AAU season is upon us.

Prospects came in this weekend with the idea of starting the spring off being productive. Well, there were a handful of prospects inside the Memphis Sports & Events Center on Sunday that were productive.

Here are prospects that stood out:

[player_tooltip player_id='2291144' first='Cassius' last='Vaughn'], Hoop City 17U: Vaughn led the way with 13 points in his team's win over All Arkansas Red 17U. The 5-foot-7 point guard did a great job touching the paint, finishing at the rim, blowing past his defender, and making shots from the perimeter. Vaughn plays bigger than his height. He‘s not afraid of going for a rebound and playing physical defense. Vaughn is one of the toughest guards in the 2027 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2283267' first='Elijah' last='Lowe'], Hoop City 17U: Lowe helped his team cut a 6-point deficit before the half. He scored on back-to-back possessions then tied the contest at 26-all at the beginning of the second half. Lowe, who finished with 11 points and 9 rebounds, was aggressive on both ends of the floor. He was communicating on defense, encouraging his teammates to keep fighting as they were down early in the first half. Lowe attacked the lane each time it was open. He stayed in the fight, which was a plus for his team in the end.

[player_tooltip player_id='3544662' first='Kamyrn' last='Green'], Hoop City 17U: Green was active on the glass, pulling down 13 rebounds against All Arkansas Red. The lengthy forward was altering and contesting shots near the rim. Green finished with 12 points on 5 for 7 shooting. He was a difference maker in the post.

Other notes

[player_tooltip player_id='2736538' first='Cannon' last='Hudson'], Hoop City 16U: This will be an important spring and summer for Hudson's growth. In a win against [program_tooltip program_id='2857828' first='Tennessee' last='United'], the 5-11 guard was solid. Hudson found wide open teammates. He was pushing the basketball in transition and getting to the rim. Hudson didn't force shots. He took what the defense gave him. Hudson still has a lot of potential to unlock. He just has to keep working.
