<p>Every Year spring and fall Club teams Aau teams come down to a small elementary school in South Jamaica in Queens New York to compete in a long running staple event the IS 8 tournament. Many legends in the NY high school scene have crafted their skill set here on their way to major D1 programs and then the NBA. If you haven't gone bring a beach chair and get ready to be entertained by the array talent on the floor and the storytellers in the crowd. Team Long Island has had some success the last few years competing against very talented teams. This years team has high hopes with a really good mix of size ,quickness and athleticism. Here are some of the players we will highlight to watch at this event. Our scout format for this report will be a little different then what you are used to. We will give you the player his height school class year and two things he does well, what he brings to the team and what you should watch for..</p>

<p>Jack Bell Whitman HS. 6”8 2026 Jack can play inside or out. Long and athletic big man. Double -double player. Has committed to Ursinus college.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2027768' first='Michael' last='Cassione'] Smithtown West HS 6”0 2026 Michael will bring energy and a winning attitude to the squad. He's an outstanding rebounder from the guard position. A stat stuffer who will get into the lane and score or setup teammates.</p>

<p>Corey Faines. Bayshore HS 6”1. 2026 He will bring quickness and athleticism. An explosive player who can score from all three levels. <br><br>Josh Gamarra. Oceanside. HS. 6”5 2026 Josh gives the Long Island team size with the ability to score many different ways. Another three level score . Will add toughness.</p>

<p>King Moore Copiague. 6”3. 2026 Had a tremendous season look for him to continue that rise. He's brings versatility. Can finish at the rim with either hand. String defender on or off the ball.</p>

<p>Ousenliti Ninche. St Anthony's 6”4. 2028 An athletic player who can play above the rim. Scores inside or out. Outstanding rebounder.</p>

<p>Ryan Schmitt. South Side. 6”6. 2026. Ryan will display an assortment of post moves to score around the rim. Outstanding rebounder. Can knock down 15 footers at a high rate. Great size and a defensive presence.</p>

<p>Cameron Serrano North Babylon. 6”0 2026. Super athletic player. Really good getting downhill. Possesses a nice mid range game. <br></p>

A physical presence inside. Excellent hands and footwork on the block. Outstanding rebounder. Has an assortment of post moves to score in the interior.</p>
