Several guards stood out with their playmaking, toughness, and overall impact at the Junior Crossroads Camp. [player_tooltip player_id='2624977' first='Gage' last='Stepich'], John, Ansen, and Chase Oliver each showed different strengths that helped them stand out throughout the camp. Stepich impressed with his unselfish approach and willingness to move the ball to create better opportunities for his team. John brought speed and toughness to the guard spot, defending well and attacking the rim with confidence. Ansen used his size to his advantage, scoring around the basket and making an impact defensively. Oliver controlled the offense with strong court vision and facilitation, consistently putting teammates in good positions to score. Together, this group of guards demonstrated skill, competitiveness, and a team-first mindset that made them noticeable performers during the camp.

At the Crossroads Invitational, [player_tooltip player_id='2624977' first='Gage' last='Stepich'] showed what it means to be an unselfish teammate. Throughout the tournament, he consistently made the extra pass, moved without the ball, and focused on creating opportunities for others rather than forcing his own shots. His willingness to do the small things—setting solid screens, communicating on defense, and keeping the offense flowing—helped his team stay connected and play at a high level. Stepich's team-first mindset and ability to prioritize winning over individual stats stood out and played a big role in his team's success during the event.

John is a quick, aggressive guard who makes an impact on both ends of the floor. Despite being smaller in stature, he plays with noticeable strength and toughness, allowing him to absorb contact and still complete plays at the rim.
