5 2029’s I Need To See This Grassroots Season

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Grassroots season is sneaking up on us and I'm excited to get things rolling. There are some players in the class of 2029 that I need to be sure to see this spring and summer. Let's take a closer look at some of those players. He's a long and bouncy athlete that can use that reach to protect the rim. Varrie is a multi level scorer that can hit a jumper from behind the arc as well as utilize a really effective drop step with his back to the basket. When we think Westerdale in Michigan, a lot of us think shooter. But the younger Westerdale, while he can bury a jumper from deep, is definitely his own unique player. He can get in the open floor and lead the break, hit the block as a finisher, or break out wide as an open floor shooter. I really like the way he can handle and make plays with the ball in his hands. Tillett can keep a defender on a string and create for himself and his teammates. I saw him a few times this high school season with Saline. What really caught my eye was his drastic improvement with his comfort level. And as he got more comfortable, his game influence dramatically increased. Moore started hitting big shots and making big plays. We all kind of new about this athlete even before middle school. It's fun to watch his early success stick so far in high school. Jeremie is tough on the glass, reading the ball off the rim.
