Here are 3 observations from Fayette Ware's win over the Indians:

Williams was money

Sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2805504' first='Cash' last='Williams'] helped the Wildcats build a double-digit lead in the second quarter after Fayette Ware trailed 8-4 early in the first quarter. Williams got going, scoring 13 of his team-high 20 points in the second quarter to help the Wildcats go into halftime up 39-29. Williams was aggressive on the offensive end, attacking the rim, and making shots off the dribble. He had this performance without sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2796643' first='Kylon' last='Terry'], as Fayette Ware needed Williams to be efficient in an elimination game.

”Fight,” the word head coach Demarius Chearis used to describe Williams. “That kid fights man. Cash fights. He fights.”

Lowe has been here

Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2283267' first='Elijah' last='Lowe'] has been in games like this before. He's been on the two previous teams that have made it to the Glass House. Lowe has the trust of Chearis to deliver in the biggest games of the season. While [player_tooltip player_id='2805504' first='Cash' last='Williams'] was in rhythm, Lowe pitched in offense as well. He scored 8 of his 15 points in the second quarter. In a span of one minute, Lowe made an outside jump shot, chased down a block, then got a score at the rim. His energy was high; his effort was noticeable, along with the home crowd's suffocating cheers, loud stomps, and echoing hand claps.

Under Chearis, Lowe is going to give it his all on each possession, and his teammates are going to follow suit.

”One of our mottos is we don't quit,” Chearis said. “So, we don't quit man. We fight.”

Terry with a solid night

Junior forward Kavious Terry finished the night with 12 points and 18 rebounds. The 6-foot-5 Terry did a solid job boxing out, altering shots at the rim, and finishing at the rim. He ran the floor well, didn't force any shots in the paint, set solid ball screens, and communicated effectively with his teammates while he was on the floor. Terry will need to take this performance into next week when his team plays the Tornadoes.
