WBCA/Prep Hoops Poll for week of February 2
New No. 1-ranked squads in Division 2 and Division 5 highlight this week's Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association/Prep Hoops Wisconsin state-wide high school boys' basketball poll.
By the narrowest of margins, Slinger has replaced Onalaska as the top team in Division 2. The Owls finished with four first-place votes and 84 total points while Onalaska, which sustained its first loss of the season to Aquinas, finished with four first-place votes and 83 points.
In Division 5, previously top-ranked Sheboygan Lutheran lost a double overtime game at Roncalli to fall to 13-3 and slip out of the top spot in the rankings. Reedsville, now 14-1, is the new No. 1 in Division 5 after wins last week over Central Wisconsin Christian, Elkhart Lake and Kickapoo.
Wisconsin Lutheran (D1), Seymour (D2) and Milwaukee Juneau (D4) remain unanimous No. 1 teams in their respective divisions.
