As a ball handler, he didn't allow pressure or tight defense to dictate his offense, taking what the defense gave him and understanding when to score versus when to drop it off on the drive. Green's ability to draw attention opened opportunities for bigs and shooters, making him an efficient decision-maker with the ball. He played exceptionally well off driving teammates, making himself available as a passing option whenever the defense collapsed. This three-level bucket getter got the job done however he could, converting tough layups for and-1s and burying contested jumpers, even when knocked off balance. Green's high release and long arms made it easy for him to fadeaway and shoot over defenders, especially along the baseline, extending to the corner. Cameron Green's shot-making versatility made him a constant scoring threat.
