Chatman picked up where he left off against Clinton earlier in the week. He started the game off with a left wing 3-pointer, setting the tone for his team to be aggressive again offensively. In the second quarter, the junior read the defense well on multiple occasions and found teammates for open looks. The Bethany ball movement was outstanding throughout the evening, with lots of contributors making an impact. Chatman aggressively finished on the baseline after attacking a close out as well late in the second quarter. Malachi showed tremendous activity, while playing under control.

Jaggers got off to a tremendous start and helped Bethany to build a lead heading into the half. The senior finished off an aggressive drive to the basket in the first quarter, before exploding in the second quarter with eight more points. Jaggers made an impact defensively, forcing a steal and going coast to coast for the finish through contact. The senior showed nice touch around the basket with a left shoulder hook shot before benefitting from yet another Bethany steal to close the half with a dunk ahead of the defense. Jaggers biggest impact came in the final second as he blocked a shot from Aedan Ellison that would have tied the game.

Weaver had everything going offensively, including a deep right wing 3-pointer. The senior had two transition buckets in which he utilized a pump-fake to let defenders fly by on both occasions. His speed and quickness was evident as he was able to get out in front of the defense in transition. While the Bronchos almost surrendered a 15-point lead to begin the final period, they also showed the toughness and fortitude to rise up and make plays to seal the game late. Weaver also forced another turnover with just under 15 seconds as he built a wall defensively and came up with the steal.

Jackson was a force in this game and helped to lead his team back in the fourth quarter. His ability to absorb blows inside and finish while also providing offensive rebounds that would lead to second chance opportunities were crucial down the stretch. After cutting the lead to just three points with under 32 seconds left, the sophomore went to work again with a nice right hand finish fading to his right from inside the paint. The Tigers would have two more chances down a single point but could not get over the hump.

Stubblefield showed great athleticism and was all over the floor for his squad. His ability to explode off the bounce and get into the paint really helped his team to build a lead early. After falling down big in the third quarter, Stubblefield joined Jackson to play their best basketball in the final period. Down eight, with under two minutes remaining, his quick hands came alive as he converted a steal into a transition layup.

The senior had a really strong second quarter in which he contributed a 3-point shot and floater in the paint. His ability to put pressure on the defense was evident as played with both intensity and strength. Loftis helped Stubblefield and Jackson close the gap in the fourth quarter. He hit all of his free throws, while also making a right wing 3-pointer that cut the lead down to just three points. Look for him to continue to have a bigger role as postseason play starts.
