In terms of rebounding, he averages 8 per game, primarily securing them on the defensive end. Maddox's long wingspan allows him to cover a significant amount of ground and effectively disrupt passing lanes. With a talented team around him, he creates opportunities for them in both half-court and transition situations. His IQ on the court is evident in his decision-making, making Seven Lakes an unstoppable force offensively. Additionally, his rebound hunting skills are exceptional, allowing him to secure 10+ rebounds in most games. These rebounds often initiate fast breaks, with him at the point of attack. While he has the ability to knock down standing shots on the perimeter, he aims to improve his consistency in that area. Defensively, his anticipation is evident as he reads plays before they happen, resulting in multiple steals during my time observing him this season. Offensively, he seamlessly integrates into the team's offense, executing timely cuts off the ball, sinking multiple three-pointers with efficiency, and running in transition situations. In a defensive battle, Yanni blocked multiple shots, disrupting Kempner's drives to the basket. His rim protection was evident as he blocked several shots. Offensively, he showcased his scoring ability in the post and made himself a lob threat in various offensive situations. Yanni's rebounding effort was impressive, especially defensively, as he collected numerous rebounds. His solid presence in the interior made him a formidable opponent for Kempner's players.
