Both teams entered the game with more than 20 victories along with high postseason aspirations as the district playoffs begin next week for small schools.

The game lived up to its billing because it took an overtime period to settle the issue for good. And it was visiting Gallatin who came away with a 60-51 victory in the extra session.

NO. 1 STAR: Gavin Wilmes (Gallatin):

The 6'0" 2026 guard scored 15 points for the winners, but he really came through at the end of regulation and in the overtime where he made the plays befitting of the All-State player that he is. He hit an elbow jumper to tie the game at 47-47 to send the game into overtime. He opened the extra session with a 3-pointer to give his team a lead that they wouldn't relinquish. He also added a steal and another bucket. He plays an excellent offensive game where he can excel with the ball in his hands and also without the ball with his movement to get open.

NO. 2 STAR: Reid Hemry (Gallatin)

The 5'8" 2027 guard scored 18 points to tie for team high honors. He hit a 15 footer from the elbow in the first half, but he was just getting warmed up. He extended his shooting past the 3-point line, where he knocked down four triples. He hit back to back 3-pointers to start the second half to spark his team from a halftime deficit.

NO. 3 STAR: [player_tooltip player_id='2837041' first='Kash' last='Holt'] (Princeton)

The 6'6" 2027 forward scored 15 points as he used his size and athleticism to control the action in the paint. When he got the ball inside, he was cash money as he finished well off the glass. He also hit a couple of mid-range jumpers with good elevation and he controlled the boards. He was also a factor on defense with multiple blocked shots.

NO. 4 STAR: Pryce Johnson (Gallatin)

The 5'8" 2026 guard scored 18 points as he tied for team-high honors. He was fun to watch as he used his speed and quickness to make things happen throughout the game. He was getting into the paint where he scored on some nice runners and nice reverse layups in traffic. He also sealed the game by knocking down several free throws in the overtime period.

NO. 5 STAR: Lincoln Berndt (Princeton): The 2027 guard scored 11 points for the Tigers as their top perimeter threat. He has nice handles and he also has some wiggle to get into the lane. He was getting into the seams of the defense and finishing at a variety of angles and he also hit the pull up jumper from the mid-range. He also hit a 3-pointer in the second half.
