These are the players who did not pick up a win to advance in the playoffs, but they put up a fight.

Porter Hinton, Stansbury

19 points in a loss, but Hinton wrapped up a solid high school career. While he would have liked a few more outside shots to fall, his quickness was a constant, reliable part of his game. Hinton is a player that is off the radar but brings great qualities to the floor. Not a bad next-level option for a D3.

[player_tooltip player_id='2218121' first='Kaser' last='Thurgood'], Bear River

Thurgood displays a tenacious, competitive spirit on the court. He's a threat from deep, and his ability to score from beyond the arc makes him a difficult matchup. His 25-point performance against a strong Ridgeline team is a testament to his skill and determination. Thurgood has next-level talent, and he could be a prospect that should be getting looks from NWAC schools and D2NJCAA schools looking for a kid to come in and compete for minutes.

[player_tooltip player_id='3175470' first='Ty' last='Rowley'], Cedar City

Rowley was out there doing his thing, scoring 26 points and hitting 5 three-pointers in the loss. He's a good, next-level scoring PG and a two-way player who plays with a lot of energy. When it comes to next-level play, Rowley is a good candidate who should be considered as a prospect. He brings that downhill/shooting PG to the table. MWAC or even the CCCs should be interested.

[player_tooltip player_id='2400415' first='Jackson' last='Branz'], Mountain Crest

[player_tooltip player_id='2400415' first='Jackson' last='Branz'] showcased his talent with a 22-point performance, displaying accuracy from beyond the arc. The junior guard is poised to become a standout player, promising to be a formidable opponent in the upcoming season. Although Branz is only a junior, he should have a few schools that are smaller tracking him during the AAU season; he has next-level talent.

[player_tooltip player_id='2541083' first='Holden' last='Warnick'], Jordan

The lengthy wing had a strong performance in his last game, scoring 19 points and hitting 3 three-pointers, but ultimately, his team came up short. Warnick is a player that might be off the radar but he has next-level talent. He brings that versatility that you are looking for in a 3 at the next level. A little bit of shooting and attacking mixed in with high-quality defense. Warnick is a player that will get better and stronger at the next level.
