<p>Prep Hoops Missouri was at McCluer North on Wednesday night for a battle of old school Suburban North Conference rivals in Hazelwood East and host McCluer North.</p>

<p>Both are having solid season with McCluer North coming in with a 14-7 record and East sitting at 14-8.</p>

<p>McCluer North took control from the outset and coasted to a 76-56 victory. The Stars led 41-36 midway through the third quarter, but closed with a 17-3 run.</p>

<p>The 6'5 2027 forward scored 14 points while also rebounding the ball with tenacity at both ends. His motor is always running. He attacks well from the high post and he also hit a 3-pointer.</p>

<p>The 6'5 2027 forward scored 14 points to lead the Spartans. He is a long, active forward who plays with a lot of energy. On this night, he had his 3-points while also shot really working. He knocked down three triples in an impressive display of shooting.</p>

<p>The 6'0 2028 guard scored 15 points which tied for team honors. He is an excellent finisher in the open court in transition. His slashing game was also very good as he scored on numerous tough takes in the lane in the second half.</p>

<p>The 6'4 2026 guard scored 10 points with all of them coming in the second half. He really started to assert himself in the second half as he started with a couple of drives for buckets. He then followed up with a pair of mid range jumpers off the bounce.</p>

<p>The 6'2 2026 guard scored 12 points on the night. When the Spartans made a surge in the third quarter, he was the catalyst with his left-handed shooting stroke. He hit a couple of nice pull up 10 footers in the lane. He also drained two high-arching 3-pointers from the wing.</p>
