2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2731844' first='Nash' last='Delger'] (Lake Mills) – 40 points (16-25 FG, 6-9 3P, 2-4 FT), 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals [at Newman Catholic]

The 5-8 senior guard is coming on strong during the final stretch of his senior season, dropping 40 points in a big road win over Newman Catholic. He showed that he can knock down shots from the 3-point line routinely off both the dribble and the catch, as well as showing that he can attack the rim off the dribble routinely. He was stellar against the Knights on both ends of the floor, and if he's playing like this in district play, the Bulldogs could be a sleeper team to make some noise.

2027 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2243086' first='Michael' last='Joyce'] (Bishop Garrigan) –- 39 points (12-21 FG, 6-10 3P, 9-9 FT), 4 rebounds, 4 steals, 1 block [at North Iowa]

The lanky, athletic 6-3 wing is one of the best two-way players in the class and he showed why in the Golden Bears' blowout win over North Iowa. He can score from anywhere on the floor, with a silky smooth stroke out to the 3-point line, and the ball-handling and footwork to create his own looks off the bounce. His length and IQ allow him to provide some real versatility on the defensive end of the floor.

2026 PF [player_tooltip player_id='2731752' first='Amaury' last='Thomas'] (Bishop Garrigan) -- 11 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 FT), 22 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals, 1 block [at North Iowa]

Another Golden Bear who had a huge game against North Iowa, Thomas has been elite on the glass all year long, and he was again against the overmatched Bison, pulling down 22 rebounds. His ability to either limit opponent's second chances, or grab second chances for Garrigan, is a big reason why the Bears are one of the favorites to win it all in 1A.

2027 SG Sean McCulloch (HLV/TC) – 31 points (8-23 FG, 3-13 3P, 12-19 FT), 8 rebounds, 1 block [vs. English Valleys]

McCulloch's efficiency numbers weren't great, barely shooting above 33%, but his relentless attacking was huge for HLV against English Valleys in their regular season finale win.

2026 PG [player_tooltip player_id='2519950' first='Rowan' last='Miller'] (Hillcrest Academy) -- 13 points (6-10 FG, 1-4 3P), 4 rebounds, 17 assists, 3 steals, 1 block [vs. Cedar Valley Christian]

Miller recently became Hillcrest/IMS' all-time leader in assists, and look at this stat line against Cedar Valley Christian, it's easy to see why. He puts constant pressure on opposing teams with his ability to create quality looks for his teammates off the dribble. He does a great job getting into the teeth of the defense, drawing them in, and then finding open shooters or cutters for good looks. He loves to get his teammates involved and looks to push the tempo whenever he can.

2028 SG Gibson Scott (Hillcrest Academy) – 31 points (13-17 FG, 5-6 FT), 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal [vs. Cedar Valley Christian]

Scott was the beneficiary of a number of those assists from Miller against CVC, dropping a highly efficient 31 points on just 17 shots. The 5-10 guard moves well without the ball in his hands, cutting to the rim and taking advantage of sleepy defenders, and he also looks to get out in transition whenever possible. The 1.82 points-per-shot was great, but arguably even more impressive was the fact that he pulled down 12 rebounds from his perimeter spot.

2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='3434233' first='Wyatt' last='Ragaller'] (Ar-We-Va) – 30 points (9-19 FG, 4-10 3P, 8-16 FT), 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, 1 block [vs. Paton-Churdan]

An impactful two-way player who can score from all three levels, Ragaller has had a really nice senior year and closed out his regular season with a great game against Paton-Churdan, delivering a season-high 30 points on pretty efficient shooting.

2027 PF [player_tooltip player_id='2754716' first='Brody' last='Heifner'] (Belmond-Klemme) – 30 points (13-18 FG, 2-2 3P, 2-3 FT), 12 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals, 1 block [at Garner-Hayfield-Ventura]

Belmond-Klemme has been one of the surprise teams in 1A this season, and Heifner, the physical, athletic 6-4 big man, has been a huge reason why. He was dominant against GHV, putting up a 30 + 12 double-double on highly efficient shooting while showing that he can step out and stretch the floor on occasion.
