, there was no longer a reason to wait. The all-around 6-foot-5 forward from South Eugene decided that Pierce College in Tacoma would be the best place for him to begin his college career, and on Senior Night last Friday the Axe announced his future plans before going out and upsetting South Medford.
"They were the first team to offer me and they just have everything I need," Yoder said. "I'm really good with the coaches there and it's just going to be a good situation for me. . The win in their last home game certainly felt good to them all and after one more game, it's on to the post-season.
"It was huge to get it on senior night and then we just got to get Roseburg on Tuesday," Yoder said.
Our congratulations go out to Yoder and his family on his decision. He currently ranks as the #30 player in the PrepHoops Oregon Class of 2026 rankings.
