He is not a greedy player and uses his IQ to make the right play when the shot is not there for him. It was his ability to contribute on both sides of the ball and do it consistently. Every time a play needed to be made, he just seemed to be in the right place. He can shoot the three-ball, knock down the mid-range shot, and use his handle to penetrate and finish. Tioga is a top team in the state with big wins under its belt, and Reed is always showing up in the box score. He is a high jumper and high IQ player that really can't be stopped when he is getting down hill. He plays well off both feet and is a powerful finisher in the open court. His ability to shoot the ball is another added part of his game, and he shoots the ball with confidence. His MVP honor is just one of many more honors in his future. Last year he was an energy player that finished around the goal, and defended at a high level. This season he has taken on more offensive responsibilites and does that through his aggressive style of play. He is a downhill player, but can pull up and shoot the mid range shot. He has a high motor and athleticism to match.
