Six Indiana High School games and one game across the river in Louisville, Kentucky. Here's a list of new faces that stood out to me this week:

Crafty scoring point guard that can get going in a hurry. In Evansville Christian's 76-74 loss to Tecumseh on Tuesday, Ozzie was a big part in keeping ECS in the game and apart of what was almost a 13 point comeback. Does a really good job operating the pick and roll. Pushes the tempo in transition and plays with his eyes up. Really good defensively with quick feet and active hands. Capable of pressuring full court and plays with a physicality on the ball. Looks to turn defense into offense in a hurry.

The senior from Boonville made big time plays down the stretch in the Pioneers come from behind win at Heritage Hills on Thursday night. The 6'1” Forward found his groove from the outside to the tune of five made 3's. Did a good job getting himself open and being shot ready off the catch. Despite giving up a height advantage, the stocky built forward did a good job defensively on his much taller matchup making it tough for him to get a touch.

One of the more impressive offensive performances I saw this week, the Sophomore Guard for Evansville Christian was scoring it from all over the floor. Got going early with his perimeter shot while also staying committed to getting two feet in the paint where he was able to finish in a variety of different ways. He's a shifty ball handler that is tough to stay in front of. Love his playmaking ability for others with intriguing court vision.

Not enough good things to say about the Senior Shooting Guard out of Saint Xavier in Louisville, Kentucky. He's a calming presence on the floor for the Tigers. He's a high motor guard that is a high level shooter. He's a high IQ guard that can play on or off the ball. He does a good job getting himself open and has become more aggressive on the offensive end becoming more of an all around scorer. He's an excellent cutter off the ball and was able to finish in crafty ways around the basket in the Tigers loss to Louisville Ballard on Friday night. Defensively, he's capable of guarding multiple positions despite being only 6'1” and isn't the most athletic player on the floor. He has great anticipation skills and is always in the right position on the floor to make it tough for the offense.

Reinhart gave Gibson Southern really good minutes on Tuesday night in the Titans 43-41 loss at Boonville. He's a versatile big man that rebounds at a high level and is capable of playing all over the floor offensively. He posts hard, he sets good screens, and has shown the ability to knock down the occasional outside shot. Has good hands on the offensive end and can finish with a soft touch. He's a physical post presence that knows how to carve up space in the lane. Played through some foul trouble in the game on Tuesday night but continued playing with a high motor on both ends of the floor.

The Sophomore Big Man from Tecumseh had perhaps his best performance of his young high school career. Got off to a bit of slow start to the season. Then had an illness that put him behind for a couple weeks. He's starting to get rolling now. He's a big, wide body at 6'6” with soft feet. He continues to get better around the basket playing through contact. He's using his body well on both ends of the floor and is rebounding better. Tecumseh made it a point in the win over Evansville Christian to get Wilson the ball on the low block and he used his size to his advantage.

The Freshman Guard for Louisville Ballard is mature beyond his years with his playmaking and shot making ability. Down the stretch he was the beneficiary of some good finds where he knocked down a couple 3's in big moments as St. X was making their comeback. He's a well built guard that had the ability to get to his spots and make plays for himself as well as being unselfish and making plays for others.
