Onan was the leading scorer, finishing with 30 points. He saved his best for the final period, exploding for 16 points in the fourth. After Bethany had just stormed back to tie the game at 39, the senior went to work. Hudson sank three in a row from beyond the arc and in less than two minutes of game action, the lead was up to nine points. The Saints would not look back from there, keeping the Bronchos at arms length to close it out.

Huffmyer helped the Saints jump out to an early lead with a 10-point opening quarter. The physicality and effort brough by the senior early on, helped to set the tone for the rest of the team. The Saints took advantage of Bethany turnovers early and often to help create separation. Huffmyer showed tremendous defensive versatility, guarding multiple positions and pressuring perimeter passes. Offensively, he was seemingly always under control throughout the evening. His ability to attack the paint and not get sped up was a constant for his squad. At 6'3", he was also able to elevate on the perimeter and shoot over defenders on multiple occasions. Huffymer finished the evening with 15 points.

The sophomore finished with 16 points and was a real force inside the paint. After trailing 30-16, Brady and Jaggers helped to pour in eight-straight to cut the lead at halftime to just six points. Brady was consistent on the glass all night long, routinely grabbing offensive rebounds and converting on multiple putback attempts. Breck used his strength to carve out room between two defenders inside to tie the game at the end of the third quarter. This was a big-time performance from Brady and something we expect to see a lot of, not only in the coming days but also over his last two seasons in Bethany.

Jaggers continues to show his versatility on both ends of the court. Alongside Brady, the senior helped to lift his squad when things looked bleak. It started with a second quarter full court attack and finish, followed by several effort plays that continued to ignite his team. His defensive intensity and timing was a bright spot for his team on that end. To start the third quarter, Jaggers showed his athleticism with a big-time block that led to a [player_tooltip player_id='2498931' first='Jagger' last='Weaver'] 3-pointer on the other end. The two biggest differences in the game though, were free throw shooting and turnovers. Most of the turnovers for Bethany were caused by the physical play of the Saints. OCS was 15-18 from the foul line, while Bethany was just 3-7.

Brobston continues to shoot the ball well, while adding length defensively on the wing. His defensive versatility helped his team climb back into the game, and his shooting helped alleviate pressure as the Saints continued to trap ball handlers. The sophomore hit a corner 3-pointer to cut the lead to 37-33 during the Bethany run that would eventually tie the game. When Bethany moves the ball and does not get sped up on offensive, they typically can generate good looks. Look for the Bronchos to get back to their winning ways in the consolation bracket against either Clinton or Elk City on Friday.
