[player_tooltip player_id='2439640' first='Jevyn' last='Severson'] dominated this game in the paint. For starters, he was pretty much unguardable in the post. His footwork, physicality, contact balance, and soft touch allowed him to convert many buckets in the paint. He routinely shoved defenders out of the way with his shoulders and powered up and through them for efficient looks. He muscled through defenders like it was nothing, and his touch never wavered in these scenarios. He was also great at getting to his floater down low after flattening opponents, and his relentless post attack allowed him to draw many fouls. He also got to the rim with his speed, fluidity, and ball handling. He displayed a very nice Euro step that created great angles for his layups, and he hit these layups at high speeds as well, and through heaps of contact, leading to multiple high-speed and-1 finishes. He was also great on the glass in this game on both sides of the floor. He converted many second-chance points on the offensive glass, and he was great at grabbing defensive boards and leading the break, where he showed his great playmaking vision. Jevyn threw many impressive skip passes in this game and made very difficult reads at high speeds. He did all of this while anchoring Madrid's defense.

Jack Gavin was a menace in the mid range throughout this game. He was great at getting to the intermediate areas of the court and rising up for tough buckets. He hit mid range shots off the catch as well, showing off his quick jump shot. His ability to shoot within a moments notice made his pump fakes extreamly deadly. Throughout this game he had defenders off their feet with his use of his fakes and patince. He routienly hit floaters and more midrange jumpers once he got his defenders in the air. He was great finshing around the rim as well. He powered up through contact and displayed a talent for converting off two feet. His well rounded scoring attack combined with his hunger for contact allowed him to draw many fouls. He was great as a playmaker becuase of his scoring ability and he created many open shots for his team. He did all of this while being an intergral pecie to Martensdale-St Marys defense with his ability to block shots and protect the rim.

Colton Wight did it all for Martensdale-St. Marys in this game. He scored around the rim with ease. These buckets mainly came from his post attack, where he was great at backing down defenders and using his footwork to create openings for post hooks. His touch was immaculate in these situations. He was also great as a midrange scorer. His jumper is smooth, and he has no issue rising up into his shot with defenders in his face. His scoring gravity allowed him to showcase his playmaking abilities, as he showed himself to be a very effective passer on the move. His main contributions in this game were his defense and rebounding. He came down with many boards in this game, and he got offensive rebound putbacks, while also grabbing many boards on the other end. He tallied four steals and a block in this game, showing his elite defensive impact. He was super versatile as a defender in this game, and he did great against every matchup that was thrown at him.

Logan Bogardus's scoring was imperative to Madrid's playoff win. He provided ample space for Madrid's offense with his elite off-the-catch three-point shooting. When he was given any room in this game, he made sure to make the defense pay. He did this with his extremely brief release and delicate touch. He was a sniper from outside on good efficiency in this game, and he made it difficult for defenders to double-team because of his shooting threat. Along with his shooting, his floater was another example of his soft touch. He displayed a high-arcing floater that proved very difficult for defenders to contest. He was also great as a ball handler running the offense, and he showcased a high motor and active hands on defense that got him a steal.

Jack Rezac was a sniper in this game. He hit mutiple off the catch threes with his quick relase. Which kept the defense honest. He hit these threes at a high clip as well and he scored with great efficency. Along with his shooting impact, he was a great connective passer. He moved the ball with ease and created open shots.
