We recently updated the class of 2027 rankings just in time for the New Year! The rankings consist of nearly 200 players, including nearly 30 new names added to the rankings. Here's a look at part five of the new faces in the updated rankings.

#118 Won Evans | 6'3” CG | Varina

Evans is emerging as a late bloomer for Varina, as he was thrust into a bigger role with some departures, and he's stepping up showing he's able to impact the game on both ends of the floor. He is a good defender who flies around to jump passing lanes and closeout with good recovery speed, he can play on the ball where he makes good decisions and is very good getting downhill, and he can move off the ball where he can knock down shots as well.

#123 [player_tooltip player_id='2618872' first='Christian' last='Myers'] | 6'1” PG | Saint Michael

Myers transferred to Saint Michael from Massaponax where he was a standout guard so he could reclassify, and he's shown his ability to score the ball and help an already talented team. The 6'1” guard is a bit of a throwback player who has a great midrange game, he plays at his own pace and a bit of a different cadence than most do making him tough to guard, and he finds ways to produce on both ends even when he isn't scoring the ball well.

#126 [player_tooltip player_id='3275793' first='Obi' last='Pinn'] | 6'2” PG | Godwin

Coming off of a strong summer, Pinn has had an even better start to the season as he's been one of the top point guards in the Richmond area, and has Godwin looking like a dark horse candidate this year. He's simply put a hooper as he's highly skilled as a shot maker and shot creator off the bounce, he makes others better with his vision and passing ability, and he makes plays on the defensive end to help his team too.

#131 [player_tooltip player_id='3275794' first='Hasaan' last='White'] | 6'1” CG | Glen Allen

White has been a big reason for Glen Allen's hot start, as he has settled in as their primary ball handler and has been super consistent for them so far this season. He's a big and physical guard who can get downhill and plays well through contact, he has really developed as a playmaker and shot maker, and he's very good on the defensive end and on the glass for his size.

#137 [player_tooltip player_id='3275795' first='Sam' last='Setter'] | 6'0” SG | Collegiate

Setter has had a huge start to the season for Collegiate, stepping up as their primary scoring threat and showing he's one of the top shooters in the Richmond area. The 6'0” off guard has had multiple big scoring nights showing his ability to move off the ball and set his feet to get shot ready, he has great range and a quick release form deep, and he is a good secondary ball handler and playmaker too.
