Prep Hoops Missouri had the opportunity to watch the championship games of three different tournaments that featured many small schools around the state.

In the Clopton Tournament, Louisiana defeated host Clopton to win the title as the No. 5 seed. Glasgow defeated host Salisbury to win the Salisbury Tournament and Southern Boone defeated Union to win the Owensville Tournament.

Here is a look at some of the top guards that we saw in those three championship games.

[player_tooltip player_id='1872286' first='Chase' last='Rackers'] (Southern Boone): The talented 6'2" 2026 guard was the Most Valuable Player of the Owensville Tournament after leading the Eagles to the championship. He is an electric score with deep shooting range and the ability to create and score off the dribble. He hit a trio of long 3-pointers in the first quarter of the championship game to get himself rolling. He also had some nice attacks in the lane where he could score on twisting drives. He is one of the top guards in the Mid-Missouri area.

Bronson Foster (Glasgow): A 2026 guard who was one of the most impressive perimeter shooters that I watched over the weekend. He can really light it up from long distance when he got it going. He was coming off screens and was shot ready on the catch with a quick release. He also attacked the close outs well as he scored on a nice runner off a one-dribble move. He also got all the way into the lane for a layup. He scored 15 points in the championship game victory over Salisbury.

Brody Troth (Southern Boone): The 6'3" 2027 wing player earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team at Owensville after helping the Eagles take home the championship. He is a good athlete who plays the game at his own pace, which impressed me. He could hit the open 3-pointer off the catch, but he could also slash into the lane and score on a smooth drive. He is also a good cutter off the ball. He has a nice burst when he looks to attack on the baseline.

Patrick White (Salisbury): A 6'1" 2026 guard who scored a team-high 13 points in the championship game against Glasgow. He is a good athlete who was very aggressive on the drive. He was very effective around the basket as he could attack off the dribble or post up like a bigger player. He could also flash up to the high post, where he could turn and face to either score on the strong take or hit the mid-range jumper.

Trey Spoonster (Clopton): A 6'0" 2028 guard who scored 13 points in the championship game against Louisiana to earn a spot on the All-Tournament Team. He is a talented young point guard who has a good feel for the game. He can create well off the dribble and he plays at his own pace. He had a nice spin move in the lane to score and he also grabbed a rebound and scored a layup after going coast to coast off the dribble.

Jacob Peiffer (Salisbury): A 6'1" 2026 guard who scored 11 points in the championship game against Glasgow. He was good on the attack as he displayed a quick first step at times to get to the basket. He scored on a nice reverse layup. He was also very active in his movements off the ball. He did a good job of flashing into the high post to create an open shot for himself.

Pryce Bonnot (Southern Boone): A 6'1" 2026 guard who is a very solid player who contributes to winning in a variety of ways. He can get to the open spots to hit an open 3-pointer. He can drive it well and he is good in transition. He was also very solid on the defensive end where he had some active hands.
