Forwards With Impressive Performances

There were some forwards last night that had very impressive games. They put their skills on display and performed at a very high level. We're going to look at a few of the forwards that impressed with their play.    Newberry is really seeing his game come into form. We've known that he can be a threat to score both inside and out. But in last night's Gobles victory, word is that he dominated on the glass. With his size and positional flexibility, being a force on the glass is a big time asset. Newberry should be fun to watch the rest of this season.     Anspach is a multi sport athlete that has a lot to offer on the basketball court. He's tall, strong and moves well with good feet. Anspach was huge in a Britton Deerfield win last night. He finished with an eye popping 26 points. That included the game winner with about a second left to play.     Curtis is making a name for himself and a game like last night's certainly helps his cause. His Lansing Eastern team picked up a win against Wyoming Lee by a score of 47-44. Curtis was basically unstoppable in the game. He finished off the double-double with 25 points and 13 rebounds. Curtis scored in a variety of ways. He finished in the open floor and attacked the block to get the drop off pass for a bucket.     Nall has been a regular on my pages this season. He's playing excellent basketball and more than deserves the press. Nall does a lot of everything and just missed a double-double last night. He finished with 17 points and 9 assists. That wasn't all though. Nall added 7 rebounds as well. He was a 2 way influence, picking up 5 steals in the game.
