Across the state, a select group of elite prospects are not just producing, they are dictating outcomes. These are the players who will swing games, tilt brackets, and leave their fingerprints all over the playoff narrative. Below is Part 2 of my breakdown on the top-ranked players who are poised to have a massive say in how the postseason unfolds…

Brendon is a young, talented scorer with a dynamic, versatile scoring package. He is an athletic wing with good basketball instincts, a mentality wired to score, and the tools to make it happen. The young, talented Dragons are led by Brendon, and they are hungry to get back to Birmingham, with a year of experience under their belt, and Brendon being a player who can carry the offensive load. Wenonah is a favorite among many for competing for the blue map.

Caiden is hands down one of the most versatile and dynamic scorers in his class. He is a gifted scorer who can score at all levels, and he does it with variety. He has a really good feel for the game, a good level of athleticism, and fluidity with his movements. He can play either guard position thanks to his size and length, and has shown a really good ability to create his own shot. Many feel as though Austin can be a surprise team down the stretch, and with Caiden leading the charge, I would not bet against it.

Even though Fairfield lost a lot of production from last year, they still have MJ, who has shown his ability to be extremely dominant and capable of carrying the Tigers. For years, he has been the man in the middle for the Tigers, but he is showing his versatility this year and producing inside and out. It goes without saying that whatever success the Tigers have in the postseason rests on the shoulders of Milton.

Demar has stepped into his own after waiting his turn for the past couple of years. He has emerged as the alpha of his team and is really performing at a high level both as a facilitator and as a scorer. He is a three-level scorer, and when he gets going, he can put up points in a hurry and in bunches. He is a high-IQ guy who makes those around him better, and he has Clay playing well heading into the stretch run.

Sam will have the Bearcats competing down the stretch and will be a tough team no one wants to face because of their style of play.

He excels at shot-making, but his bread and butter is his perimeter shooting, especially from behind the arc. Tucker has what it takes to lead his team to the Final Four.
