2026 PG [player_tooltip player_id='2519981' first='Briggs' last='Boehme'] (Wapsie Valley) -- 36 points (14-26 FG, 6-12 3P, 2-2 FT), 3 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals, 1 block [at Turkey Valley]

Boehme was in complete control from the jump against an overmatched Trojans team, showcasing his ability to score from all three levels in an efficient manner. In addition to his robust scoring output, he showed why he's one of the better playmakers in the class, dishing out eight assists. This was a needed win for Wapsie Valley, who had hit a bit of a rough patch, and Boehme was awesome in it.

2027 PG [player_tooltip player_id='3343976' first='Trey' last='Cota'] (Kee) -- 35 points (11-18 FG, 9-16 3P, 4-5 FT), 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal [at West Central]

It has been a down year for the Hawks, but Cota has been a real bright spot. He was great against West Central, burying nine 3-pointers and doing so both off the dribble and the catch. He did a nice job using his jumper to open up the rest of his game, attacking off the dribble.

2027 PF [player_tooltip player_id='2859058' first='Westly' last='Cole'] (Newman Catholic) -- 35 points (13-21 FG, 2-2 3P, 7-9 FT), 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal [at Nashua-Plainfield]

The 6-3 big man was dominant against the Huskies, scoring efficiently around the rim as well as showing that he can step out and space the floor. He's a big, physical forward who can control the glass on both ends of the floor as well as create plays for his teammates out of the high post area.

2026 C Justin Severson (Marquette Catholic) -- 31 points (13-15 FG, 5-6 FT), 10 rebounds (9 offensive), 1 steal [vs. North Cedar]

Take your pick from a number of Defenders from this game given that they dropped 100 points on the Knights, but Severson was the biggest standout, with the 6-4 big man dominating the painted area and especially controlling the offensive glass. North Cedar had no answer for Severson's toughness and size.

2027 PF [player_tooltip player_id='2756998' first='Alex' last='Kruger'] (Sibley-Ocheyedan) -- 31 points (11-18 FG, 7-11 3P, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block [vs. Gehlen Catholic]

The 6-6 Kruger was fantastic against the Jays, posting a double-double and showing his ability to score inside and out with remarkable efficiency. His seven made 3-pointers accounted for over a quarter of his output from the arc so far this season.

2026 PG Ruger Berndt (Wayne) -- 31 points (10-18 FG, 2-4 3P, 9-11 FT), 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 steals, 1 block [vs. Mormon Trail]

The quick 5-8 lead guard was dominant against the Saints, getting to the rim or free-throw line whenever he wanted to. In addition to his big scoring output, he got his teammates involved at a high level, putting constant pressure on the Saints defense with his speed and handles.

2026 PG [player_tooltip player_id='2886826' first='Justyn' last='Faulkner'] (Wapello) -- 16 points (8-23 FG, 0-3 3P, 0-6 FT), 10 rebounds, 15 assists, 7 steals [at Highland]

Faulkner wasn't incredibly efficient, shooting 35% from the floor, but he made a massive impact on the game, posting a triple-double as well as coming away with seven steals. The 6-2 guard's size gives him an advantage against a lot of his matchups at the 1A level, and he used it to his advantage here.

2026 PG Landon Foelske (Nashua-Plainfield) -- 8 points (3-5 FG, 1-2 3P, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, 11 assists, 1 steal [at Tripoli]

A number of Huskies had great games against Tripoli, but Foelske's all-around impact stood out, coming up just two points shy of a triple-double. A 6-0 guard with a high IQ, he puts his teammates in positions to succeed routinely.
