Last year, he was known as a rim running finisher, intimidator and energy guy, but this season he keeps those skills and adds some poise by shooting the ball at with higher efficiency. He is a big guard, with post skills making him one of the most versatile players in the state. As soon as he steps on the court, he competes. He is shooting better, rebounding better and has stepped in as an emotional leader as well. To say he is bigger would be an understatement. At Lab he was a smooth wing player with next level size and skill on the perimeter with the ability to slash and finish. Now he is a big body and even more athletic than before. He is still adjusting, but anytime you can put a 6'6 baller with wing skills in the post, the results can be scary. His historic run at Hamilton Christian resumes at LCCP, and his skill and leadership makes them dangerous heading into the playoffs. He is a three level scorer, facilitator and just plat out playmaker that lives to make big plays. Shaw is one of the most respected players in the state because of his unparalleled work ethic. Shaw is what we call a force multiplier in the military. He can take what you have and make it better. Shaw can shoot the three ball, knock down the mid range, finish at the rim and facilitates willingly. He does all that while defending your best player.
