He is a 40% shooter from deep and leads the team in points, assists, and rebounds. His impact stretches far beyond the box score as he controls tempo, makes winning decisions, and delivers in the biggest moments. Whether spacing the floor, creating for others, or stepping into timely shots, Grant gives Randolph a true alpha who can take over games, or trust his teammates enough to let the game come to him. Late in the season, that poise is priceless.

Hudson Cloud (6'1/PG/'26/Randolph)

IG: hudsoncloud_

Hudson brings physicality and composure to the lead guard position. He plays with a mature floor presence and a team-first mentality. His ability to use his body, change pace, and get to his spots makes him a tough cover, especially against smaller or less physical guards. He sets the tone defensively and emotionally. He is unselfish, vocal, and steady, qualities that matter when games slow down and possessions become precious in February and March.

Alex Kochanowski (6'5/Wing/'27/Randolph)

Alex's growth has been a major factor in Randolph's offensive balance. He has become increasingly comfortable getting to his spots, knocking down perimeter shots, and finishing at the rim, even against bigger, more physical defenders. His versatility allows the Raiders to create spacing while still attacking the paint, a crucial element of their half-court success. When Alex is confident and aggressive, Randolph becomes much harder to scheme against.

Role Players Who Raise the Ceiling:

Hayden Johnson (6'2/Wing/'26/Randolph)

IG: haydenlj2.0

Every contender has 'that guy' who does the dirty work, takes the toughest assignment, and never backs down. Hayden is that guy as he brings relentless toughness and effort every single night, guarding the opponent's best player regardless of position. Offensively, he is more capable than people realize, highlighted by a 31-point performance without attempting a single three along with games where he has had multiple double-doubles. He is physical, fearless, and sets the standard in practice, consistently outworking everyone in the gym. His presence gives Randolph an edge in grind-it-out games.

Charlie White (6'1/SG/'27/Randolph)

Charlie is the shooter you cannot leave. He has emerged as a reliable scoring threat with eight games of multiple made threes, including scoring outputs of 21 and 23 points. His shooting gravity stretches defenses and opens the floor for everyone else. When you pair his playmaking with his high basketball IQ and relentless work ethic, and the fact he is in the gym every chance he gets, you have a player who can swing games in short bursts.

What Makes the Raiders Championship Contenders?

What makes Randolph dangerous right now is not just talent it is growth. You can see the youthful Raiders gaining confidence. With nine juniors new to varsity, they needed time to adjust to the speed and physicality of the game. That adjustment period is over. They have stepped up recently and made meaningful impacts in critical moments. The team overall is buying in defensively. Even while dealing with injuries, the commitment to bring toughness and pressure on each possession has kept them competitive in tight games. After starting the season at a faster pace, injuries forced an adjustment and it paid off. The Raiders have been able to return to a more traditional Princeton-style offense, creating cleaner looks inside, improving spacing, and allowing their basketball IQ to shine. This group has been through adversity and has a battle-tested mentality. They know how to grind, how to respond, and how to win ugly when necessary. For Randolph to reach its ceiling, the formula is clear:

Stay healthy

Continue defending and rebounding at a high level

Take care of the basketball

Get back into rhythm offensively as key pieces return

If that happens, the Raiders are not just a tough out, they are a legitimate threat.

#TerryTalks…My Thoughts On Randolph Raiders:

As the season moves into its most important stretch, the Randolph Raiders are beginning to look like a team no one wants to see on the other side of the bracket. After navigating injuries, lineup changes, and a steep learning curve for a young varsity core, the Raiders are peaking at the right time, locking in defensively, rediscovering their offensive identity, and leaning into veteran leadership to fuel a late-season surge. This is a team that has grown together, hardened through adversity, and now understands exactly how it has to win.
