The 2026 class has been productive during the first half of the 2025 season.

The productivity has been seen across Tennessee. Whether people have noticed or not, the senior class has a lot of talent.

And it's time to notice how well the prospects have performed.

How good has this class been in the early portion of the season?

It's been very good.

Here are seniors that are off to a good start:

[player_tooltip player_id='2439013' first='Cutter' last='Sisk'], Beech: The Buccaneers are 11-1, and it's because of Sisk's stellar play. Sisk is not only a 3-level scorer, but the Wofford commit has been initiating the offense, rebounding at a high clip, and altering shots at the rim. Sisk has been stellar since the season started. He's a top 8 player in the class, and rightfully so. Sisk, who's averaging 24.0 points and 10.0 rebounds a game, is on pace to be a Mr. Basketball finalist in TSSAA Division I Class 4A.

He could win it.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560719' first='Trey' last='Pearson'], Pope Prep: The No.1 point guard in the class will always put the Superman cape on when he needs to. Pearson has been defending at a high level this season. He's been sharp with his court vision. Pearson has done a great job on the offensive end. In the opening round of the Battle for Nashville Tournament, the High Point commit scored 27 points in a win over Kirkwood and was named to the Battle for Nashville All-Tournament 2nd Team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1277259' first='Cam' last='Swearengen'], Knoxville Webb: Swearengen is such an important piece for the Spartans success. The 6-foot-4 guard is a good ball handler and sharp decision maker. Swearengen is a 3-level scorer that plays with a good pace. He's a mismatch on most nights because of his high IQ, poise, and calmness in any situation. Swearengen plays like a champion.

[player_tooltip player_id='2045245' first='Burton' last='Cox'], Jo Byrns: Cox is having a solid year so far for the Red Devils, who are currently 8-4. The senior guard shoots the ball well, sees the floor well, and sits down on defense. He's currently averaging 12.0 points, 5.0 assists, and 3.0 steals in the first half of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1787950' first='Luke' last='Sigmund'], Maryville: Sigmund is a difference maker. I witnessed it firsthand at the Battle for Nashville Tournament. The 6-8 forward can score with his back to the basket. Sigmund can step outside the paint and make shots from the perimeter. He rebounds the ball well. In a loss to Briarcrest in the 3rd place game, Sigmund - in less than 2 minutes - scored 6 points that shifted the momentum towards the Rebels in the 3rd quarter. His presence is always felt on the hardwood floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1923548' first='Jackson' last='McCutcheon'], Brentwood: McCutcheon plays hard on each possession. He starts the game with great energy and plays with great energy for 4 quarters. McCutcheon is a reliable scorer. He can make shots from the perimeter. McCutcheon is going to sit down on defense. All of this was on full display in the Bruins win over Battle Ground Academy in the Battle for Nashville Tournament. He scored 17 points in the win and looked sharp on both ends of the floor from start to finish.

Cole Winters, Beech: The 6-3 guard has been an all-around solid player for the Buccaneers. Winters is a 3-level scorer. He will defend, rebound, and dive for 50-50 balls. Winters plays at a good pace. During the first half of the season, Winters has been playing at an All-District level. He's currently averaging 10.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.
