Homer brought energy all weekend on both sides of the ball. He was a spark plug on offense during the first game of the classic. As the games went on throughout the weekend we able to see his game round out. Whenever Mayfield needed a loose ball or clutch shot Homer made it happen. His ability to be in the right position for open shots highlighted his IQ and ability to play within the Mayfield system. Homer was not afraid to attack or defend larger players which showed his versatility for the team.

Kouliebchen was the engine that made Centennial run during the Joe Armijo Classic. Centennial is able to initiate their offense through the big man. He is very comfortable in his role on the team and plays well in the system. He was able to use his footwork on offense to get easy baskets for his team. When making moves to the basket he never seemed to be in a rush and many times was able to find the open man. His rebounding and ability to keep plays alive was on display all weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1717219' first='Tracen' last='Huntsman'] made one of the most clutch shots of the weekend that tied the game to go into overtime. Without that shot Centennial would not have won the game that went into triple overtime. During the play he looked poised to take the shot and nothing seemed to faze him. He played heavy minutes during the Sandia game and even when fatigue started to kick in he was able to push though. Tracen was not just a shooter during the weekend but also helped on the glass grabbing rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2827503' first='Fernando' last='Corona'] is normally looking to be a threat on the offensive side of the ball. This weekend he was able to show other sides of his game. Fernando made his biggest impacts on defense during the first few games of the Joe Armijo Classic. He was a vocal leader calling out cutters and screens while playing the passing lanes. As the weekend went on he became more of a threat on the offensive end of the floor. Fernando is a player that has the ability to put points on the board in a hurry and during the championship game he was able to do just that.
