<p>The Clarkton Tournament is annually the first of the Christmas holiday tournaments to be played around the state. South Pemiscot defeated Risco in a thrilling championship game. Malden defeated Doniphan in the third place game.</p>

<p>Here is a look at some of the players who caught our eye while watching the Clarkton Tournament. He plays with a boundless amount of energy with his great motor</p>

<p>TOP STANDOUTS</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2846043' first='Ty' last='Campbell'] (South Pemiscot): The 6'0" 2027 guard scored 17 points in the championship game against Risco. He plays with a limitless amount of energy with his great motor, which enables him to play so much bigger. He rebounds at a high level for someone his size. He is a terrific slashing threat with a quick first step and a burst to beat defenders off the dribble. He is a fun player to watch because he brings it on every possession.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2541260' first='Owen' last='Fortner'] (Risco): A 6'4" 2026 forward who scored a game-high 15 points in the championship ship, which included his 1,000th career point. He uses his size to his advantage very well against a smaller South Pem team. He scores with both hands around the basket with equal effectiveness. He also made some nice interior passes in tight traffic in the lane.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2539667' first='Robert' last='Farmer'] (South Pemiscot): The 5'6" 2026 guard is one of the most exciting players to watch in the SEMO area. He's small, but he is dynamic and fearless in how he plays the game. One particular play was when he was in transition, he made a daring spin move and scored on an acrobatic layup. He creates off the dribble very well which supports his quickness.</p>

<p>Eli Rogers (Risco): The 6'2" 2026 guard scored 14 points in the championship game against Risco. He loves to take the most important shots of the game and he has hit many. He had a 3-pointer just roll in and out in the final seconds that would have won the championship game against South Pem. He shoots is well from the perimeter and he attacked the lane well and scored on a nice spin move, which led to a jumper.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2717822' first='Corey' last='Hagood'] (Doniphan): A 6'3 2026 who has good size for his position. He is a talented offensive player and he is also good at creating for others. He can score inside with his size and he can shoot it from distance.</p>

<p>Tristan Moncrief (Malden): A 6'3" 2026 small forward who impressed me very much in my first time watching him. His athleticism was very evident as he threw down a pair of resounding dunks in the third-place game victory over Doniphan. He is an effective slasher who was very active on the offensive boards. He was swooping in over everyone and snatching rebounds for putbacks.</p>

<p>Parker Carlisle (South Pemiscot): A 2026 guard who was one of the top perimeter shooters that I watched at the tournament. He scored a team-high 18 points in the championship. He was hitting timely 3-pointers throughout the game.</p>

<p>Dyentez Dobbins (Malden): A 6'5" 2026 forward who earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team after helping his team to a third-place finish. He is a good athlete who was a workhorse on the interior. He was rebounding and shot blocking at a very high level. He also powered down a couple of dunks to seal the victory in the third place game.</p>

<p>Brayden Cartillar (Risco): A 5'10" 2027 guard who scored 13 points for the Tigers in the championship game. He was providing some consistent perimeter shooting as he knocked down multiple 3-pointers. He also had a couple of nice moves off the dribble to attack the close outs.</p>

<p>Bryce Robinson (South Pemiscot): A 6'0" 2026 forward who infused some great energy into South Pem when he entered the game. He scored 11 points and played a big role in the victory. He helped bring South Pem back from a double-digit deficit with his offensive rebounding and transition buckets. He plays much bigger than his size with his athleticism and high rate of activity.</p>

<p>Jack Bell (Portageville): A 6'3 2027 guard who earned a spot on the All Tournament Team. He has good size and skill level on the perimeter. He handles the ball and facilitates offense well and he can really score. He can create off the dribble and he has a nice shooting stroke from 3-point range.</p>

<p>Drew Fowler (Malden): A 2026 guard who really shoots it well from 3-point range. He does a good job opening things up for his athletic teammates in the frontcourt with his shot making on the perimeter. He was named to the All-Tournament Team.</p>

<p>Lansing Todd (Doniphan): A 6'1" 2027 guard who shot the ball well from the perimeter when he hit multiple 3-pointers. He also used his strength to go inside and post up a smaller guard. He hit a nice turnaround jumper on the baseline with the fadeaway. It was one of the better shots that I watched during the evening.</p>
