<p>Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the top forwards who we watched at the SEMO Conference Tournament on Thursday.</p>

<p>Elijah Ibrahim (Dexter): The 6'4" 2027 forward scored a game-high 14 points in leading Dexter to the victory over top-seeded Cape Central. He was tremendous in the first half as he was aggressive on the offensive end with low post buckets. He was also rebounding at a high rate and blocking shots on defense. He is a good roller and he was also crashing the offensive glass. He scored the game-winning points when he scored on a three-point play with 26 seconds left on an offensive putback.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2677903' first='Goliath' last='Morris-Young'] (Cape Central): A 6'4" 2027 forward who stepped up his play in the absence of 6'6" standout [player_tooltip player_id='1789999' first='Tyseandre' last='Edwards'], who was out with an injury. He is a physical player who has good athleticism and good finishing ability inside. He rose up and threw down a nice dunk in traffic. He catches the ball well and he makes uses pump fakes effectively when he needs to. He also has a soft touch off the glass. He has a quick second jump on the offensive boards.</p>

<p>Jon Ernst (Jackson): A 6'8" 2028 forward who is one of the top up and coming prospects in the SEMO area. He scored 13 points in the semifinals against Sikeston. He is very skilled around the basket and he is capable of scoring with either hand. He also has good footwork, which he showed with a good spin move in traffic to get a bucket. He was also stepping out and hitting the 15 footer. He takes a lot of contact with his long frame, but he stands up to it very well.</p>

<p>Jaharus Goodwin (Sikeston): A 6'3" 2026 forward who is a tremendous worker around the basket. He is a high-motor player who was constantly giving multiple efforts. He sits down well to establish position in the low post and he gives an excellent second and third effort on the boards. When a defender dared him to take a 3-pointer, he stepped up and drained one from the left wing.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2116962' first='Dallas' last='Williams'] (Poplar Bluff): A 6'4' 2026 small forward who is a very skilled offensive player with excellent athleticism. He has three-level scoring ability with a very nice mid-range jumper. He creates well off the dribble to get to his spots to elevate over defenders on the jumper. He plays the game under control and doesn't get sped up. He also threw down a few impressive dunks in the transition game.</p>

<p>Will Thomas (Jackson): A 6'3" 2026 forward who scored a game-high 17 points in the semifinals against Sikeston. He looks like a glue-guy who can also get buckets. He is a versatile player who could take the ball and facilitate offense or go inside to put in work in the low post. He attacked the basket well with some aggressive drives into the lane. He also hit a couple of 15 footers from the elbow.</p>

<p>Devin Dannenmueller (Cape Notre Dame): A 6'5" 2027 forward who plays a tough and physical game in the low post. He is strong and he doesn't mind hunting contact when he makes his moves inside. He is also a strong finisher in the post with a good drop step. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2406369' first='Sammy' last='Durden'] (Poplar Bluff): A 6'4" 2027 forward who has a solid body to go along with his versatile skill set. He catches the ball and rips through well on the drive to get a bucket. He works well in the middle of the zone defense where he can attack off the dribble or hit the jumper. He can also knock down the open 3-pointer.</p>

<p>Devin Turnbo (Dexter): A 6'1" 2026 forward who is a bit undersized, but he knows how to maneuver around the lane. He was working along the baseline very well. He made good use of the pump fake inside to free himself up for layups. He was also very active on the offensive boards, where he was able to get putbacks.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2383857' first='Justin' last='Briscoe'] (Poplar Bluff): A 6'7" 2027 forward who has a long and lanky frame. He uses his length well to have a strong defensive presence. He blocked multiple shots in the paint. He also did a good job of walling off players when they drove in his direction. He also displayed a nice shooting touch in the lane.</p>
