Jake Plummer-First (CBC): The 6'6" 2026 forward is better known as a standout defensive end on the Cadets' excellent football team. He is headed to Fresno State to play football next season. He is also a very effective basketball player who works hard on the interior as a scorer and rebounder. He had 12 points and seven rebounds against Webster Groves in the semifinals. He was hard to handle inside with his size and activity. His second and third jump inside was impressive as he had multiple putbacks.

Josh Grimes (St. Mary's): A 6'1" 2027 guard who is having a very productive start of the season at nearly 13 points a game. He is a solidly built guard who uses his strength to his advantage when he powers his way into the lane. He can score on the straight line drive and he can also finesse it with his float game. His pull up jumper from the mid range was also on point. In the wide open game that the Dragons play, he has many opportunities to go on the attack.

Jordan Reed (Lift for Life): A 6'0" 2026 point guard who is a veteran senior performer on a team full of talented freshmen and sophomores. On a team that plays very fast, he still manages to play at his steady and even keel pace. He has a nice runner in the lane when he attacked off the dribble. He also lifted a defender with a shot fake, then proceeded to sink a mid-range jumper. He also plays well in the transition game.

[player_tooltip player_id='3087863' first='Andreas' last='Walker'] (Jennings): This was my first time seeing the 6'0" 2026 guard in action and I was very impressed with his performance. He scored 21 points in a consolation bracket game against John Burroughs. His strength and quickness made his a tough cover throughout the game. He is very physical on the dribble and he gets into the lane with the two foot jump stop with authority. He made one drive when he shouldered a defender out of the way to get a layup. He hit a 3-pointer and he also crashed the offensive boards.

Osar Tate (Lutheran North): A 5'9" 2026 guard who brings a tremendous amount of energy to the game when he comes off the bench. He is super quick and he was always looking to attack downhill on the drive when he got the ball. It didn't matter if he was the smallest player on the court. His aggressiveness makes up for it. He also made a pair of 3-pointers, one came off the catch and another one in transition.
